F.R.U.I.T. is a compilation of some of my favorite songs recorded over the last two years. 
These 4 tracks are journeys  of heartbreak, obsession, infidelity and
getting over that shit and starting again. Many of us never truly get that right, we hold on to our hurt, build expectations and shut ourselves off, until it starts again.
Inhliziyo yam' has always been one of my favorite songs and an absolute crowd favorite. It's a short reprize about heartbreak and people can't help but sing along
FLWR GRL , I think D.O.X. is one of the most talented people I've ever worked with. One day, we're in the studio recording Testify and he says "let's take a break..", plays me this beat and the verse just flows out of me. We laid it down,kicked it to the side and contnued with Testify. I still feel like it's ONE OF THOSE SONGS
Right Now, contrary to it's name took the loongest of time .Kwame and I go waaaaay way back, but we hardly see eachother. He pulls up to the crib with a guitar he had just  bought, plays the chords,, asks me to bring my dad's guitar, plays this sick melody, packs up and leaves. I beg him to put me on the song, end up doing like half a verse because of time, schedules and life. We lose touch, months later I hear a minute-long version of the song on Amour Propre, kwame then deletes all his music, luckily I ripped it off the internet illegally, two years later I take the mp3 and throw on D.O.X.'s vocals. Kwame only heard it for the first time last week, literally 3 years later
F.R.U.I.T. is about getting over the bullshit that comes with heartbreak, it's a fun little freestyle I did to a beat a friend of mine sent to me a month ago. He wanted the song for himself, but in this world ideas are king. S/O to Doctor, the world needs more plugs like you
