A story I did for South Jersey's only local broadcast news show - the South Jersey Edition Prime with David Spatz. 
Ocean City High School had been waiting to see their experients take off- literally. 8 students have experiments set to launch on a NASA shuttle headed toward to International Space Station. I spoke to OCHS teacher and science program director Dan Weaver about the experiments and patience with science.

A news story I did about South Jersey's supposed blizzard that never was. Step up shop at the local Wawa and ShopRite to talk to people including slow workers, seniors who overpreapred, moms whose kids still had snow days and people who were hoping for more of the white stuff.

A sad story out of Cape May County I reported on. Shadow, a senior yellow lab was one of 5 dogs found in a home in Lower Township. Shore Veterinarians is taking care of his medical treatments. I'm an animal lover, so I'll be following this story till Shadow gets a furrever home.

I spoke with the director of the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine, New Jersey about a frenzy of whale sighting off the Jersey Shore. While it's not uncommon for whales to be migrating and feeding off our shores, they are close to beaches and boaters and have had a pretty big presence on social media.
We also talk about how the MMSC is dealing with an ongoing reconstruction of the facilities and a resident of the center, who is ready for the holidays.

New/Talk 1400 WOND's Lauren Carroll joins Sea Isle City Mayor Leonard Desiderio for the 23rd Annual Holiday Food and Toy Drive. This event collects Christmas meals and toys for families in South Jersey through the generosity of the locals. It was a stormy, unseasonable day, but the holiday spirit of giving and loving thy neighbor was still all around.

The Seven Fishes dinner is an Italian tradition that's receiving a renaissance in South Jersey. the 105 year old fish market Mike's Seafood will see large orders and lines out the door as they prepare to help the Jersey Shore prepare Christmas Eve dinner. Owner Mike Monticelli shares his traditions and favorite dishes, as well as explaining (possibly) why we partake in this annual feast.

One year ago, South Jersey lost it's only network television affiliate and with it went, the only live television news in the region. WMGM-TV's new owners dropped local programming and became an affiliate of the small Soul of the South Network. I spoke with former members of the NBC40 News Team to find out what they're doing now.

When I'm not reporting on the local news, I'm chatting about the hot topics of the day. With my show host, Bob, we like to keep the motto "you might even learn something".
Don't like the AM dial fool you, I often get to talk about technology, music and my newest passion, roller derby.
My background is diverse: I started as an college radio DJ with my own two hour show, while getting a degree in journalism. I was post-grad promotions intern, then rocked the WMGK Classic Rock squad. I got behind the board at WHYY-FM, and now producer 8 shows 6 days a week on WOND.
