Working on the Oscars as Choral Director for over 20 years was such fun, and often I got to do the vocal that the orchestra track was being pre-recorded for, if the artist who would be performing "live" on the show was not at pre-record. This is the recording I got to do with the orchestra of "My Heart Will Go On" in 1998, when it won the Oscar, and Celine Dion performed it on the broadcast.

The amazing voice of Promise Marks brings new life to Sarah Vaughan's "Ain't No Use". David features these iconic performances along with his own trumpet playing. David sings the Ella Fitzgerald classic "Dream A Little Dream Of Me" and the trumpeter's traditional solo song, "I Can't Get Started", brought to modern times, and remembered via old time versions from Maynard Ferguson, Al Hirt, Bunny Berrigan and others.
