Bristolian Drum & Bass pioneer Roni Size returns to his iconic imprint, Full Cycle Records with hi-octane, 5 track EP Vintage, due for release 3rd December 2021.
 
Kicking off the EP with ‘The Sky’, out 18th November, the uplifting and extravagant fast-paced D&B roller sets the scene for the full 5 track EP. Enigmatic and addictive, it’s a testament to Roni’s truly timeless sound. Second track ‘Now Is The Time’ takes things into moodier territory, with propulsive percussion and dystopian vocals giving way into a no holds barred rave ready workout. On the flip, euphoric number ’Yeah Ya Know’ is a stripped-back and addictive breakbeat cut - leaning into the old skool yet sounding fresher than ever. Harking back to the hardcore days, ‘Sweet Water’ channels early rave memories with shimmering synths interspersed with chunky, heavy hitting broken-beats. Rounding out the EP, ‘Sweet Water Vocal Dub’ is dreamy jungle at its best - let the soulful sugar sweet vocals and driving breaks take you higher.
