Deep House sets continued...(v. 2.0)

Hey friends,
after quite some time I'm back to start into the new year with a fresh mix!
This time it is mixed by Dom Tilson, currently living in Hamburg, Germany.

Dom Tilson, born and raised in Karlsruhe, early discovered his love for small & dark clubs, where mainly industrial and dark techno sound dominated. Influenced by this sound, he started spinning in 2016 and played mainly in Clubs like Romy S, Romantica & White Noise in Stuttgart. Later on, events like 'Bucht der Träumer' and 'Jangala' showed him the beauty, depth and diversity of downtempo music.

In his productions and sets, he tries to merge his different influences into a sound full of melancholia and deep melodies but driving at the same time. From deep down to dark tech, fast or slow, the mood is alike.

In 2020 he had his first release on the label 'Kollektiv.Liebe' and co-founded the creativity hub @schleichend , which is providing a platform for artists of all kinds.

Listen in on my opening set at “Laufmasche” @ Katzensprung Festival 2022 (Jul 22), kicking off the Conexa Rec. Showcase that took over this beautiful stage all day and night on Friday. Tune in on for a slow, but driven journey with spaced out moments, both warm and dark sounds, accompanied by nifty beats and phat satisfactory bass thumps - working to gently push the listeners into the weekend ahead.

My utmost gratitude goes to Conexa Rec. (@conexarecords) for giving me this opportunity and festival debut, with special thanks to Stiller (@stillerito) for inviting me along for this memorable ride.

About this journey :
One of the ancient cultures in my homeland has a special greeting I'm fond of: "in lak'ech, ala k"in", meaning "I am you, and you are me". This hour long trip got inspired by the wisdom of the mayan, deep meditation guided by shamanic sounds from all around the globe.

About Saul Sanchez
Born and raised in Guanajuato, México, has been living for the past 7 years in Oslo, Norway. Having spent most of his childhood in the mountain hills of the Mexican "bajío" with his indigenous ancestors brought big influence to his life. Pre-hispanic, folkloric, Latin-American, tribal and shamanic sounds conform an essential part of his musical exploration. This is for him, a way to keep his roots alive. Saul introduces complex sets, giving as result a multi-cultural sounds journey which appears to transport you to ancient rituals, always by the hand, naturally, of powerful and hypnotic basslines. Oslo has welcomed him with open arms and he's now earned the city's nightlife respect due to his consistent work. With his international debut show at iconic party Woomoon Ibiza, he's proven his talent goes beyond borders and it's ready to turn the dancefloor into the party everyone wishes to experience.
