Who Speaks For Earth

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

Wassim Younes is an experience.
He is a state of mind.
He is the transporter of minds and souls to an amazing frantic paradise that, while leaving you knackered, strangely also leaves you feeling re-invigorated.
At 6ft tall and broad-shouldered, a chunky ostentatious bracelets around his arms, and immaculate dress sense ,he makes an imposing figure who commands respect.
Yet, he is not dancing; this is something far more emotional. Imagine watching a couple having hot, rough, yet passionate but dominating sex to a breathless, wailing lover which, in this case, comes in the shape of a mixing desk. Forceful, dominant, yet always tender and caring. The visual impact allows your body to further immerse itself in the ecstasy he is submitting you to; your ears alone cannot possibly absorb everything that he is throwing at you.
As for his sound, imagine every track as a partially completed canvas. Through the use of effects on the mixing desk, he adds his own color, texture and feel as he maximizes every beat of every track to create the unique sound. His precision mixing at incalculable speeds is part of the show; as each track mixes in you can positively feel the dance-floor going up a notch to keep up with the frantic and energetic DJ that has them all by the balls.

Wassim Younes [Journey Series]

The world tends to think that there is less and less quality music,  which if you are judging only by what commercial songs that are played on the big radio stations.. that is true. However if you dig deep enough you reach  this underground world of quality music and amongst a number of intriguing and wonderful artists the name Wassim Younes will definitely appear across your screen. A DJ known for his excellent mix tapes not only on his profile but for a number of the best music podcasts around such as our friends Serefin Audio Imprint, Orient Art and Deep Vibes Radio, he has also more recently produced a number of quality tracks notably collaborating with Stanisha. 

This mix will make you feel you are being transported by the Lebanese clouds just high enough so you can appreciate the Sun set over the sea and across the mountains. A seamless hour long mix with a number of oriental gems, mixed with a smooth slow house beat perfect to soak in that evening sun. If you don't know Wassim, it is the opportunity to start following what he does as it's guaranteed you will not be disappointed.

Perceptions (Wahrnehmungen) differ, depending on your personal setting. And I like it a lot to meet people that break through usual thinking. People who help expand my own horizon. It’s challenging to recap what you experience as right or wrong. Reality (Wirklichkeiten) are highly perceptual and pluralistic. Optimists perceive a totally different reality than pessimists. There are infinite possibilities (Möglichkeiten) in there. With that in mind it is possible to be open and tolerant for new situations and people.
