All good things come in threes.
Since 2018, our Jungbrunnen series has been a platform for talented newcomers. In 2019, Panta Rhei followed as a space for deep, genuine, organic and experimental sounds. And MUY APRECIADO has become our way of sharing exclusive mixtapes made by our friends and fellow artists — in the spirit of Mach Mal Langsam.

This summer, after a long pause, it was a joy and an honour to share a recording by Mia Kober from New Zealand. Now, for the winter season, we turn our gaze towards the Mediterranean Sea.

A couple of years after her appearance on Jungbrunnen, we are very happy to welcome back @chicaruso_music — this time with a special contribution to MUY APRECIADO series.

Opening with the tender Southern Italian lullaby “Sogna Fiore Mio”, Chiara slowly unfolds a warm and intuitive journey through downtempo, electronic and organic house, carried by earthy basslines and global grooves.

Coming from the island of Sicily, her sound naturally evokes Mediterranean landscapes, sea breeze, ancient rituals of Magna Graecia, and a deep sense of community.

Based between Sicily and Germany, inspired by the festival universe of Garbicz and Fusion, and as a founding member of Luna Nuova Festival in her hometown of Selinunte, Chiara brings together dancefloor sensitivity, cultural openness and a strong belief in shared spaces — where bodies, stories and sounds move as one.

This mix is an invitation to pause for a moment, close your eyes and let yourself be gently carried — a little Sicilian sun for grey winter days.
