He's been developing his passion for curating music in multiple ways; from organizing events, setting up connections between (international) dj's, producers and labels, to collecting records devotedly.
Known as co-founder of label- and vinyl-distribution One Eye Witness, he's constantly exposed to fresh impulses of music. Taking all these experiences to the decks as a DJ, Hylke’s sound is forged from a fascination for eerie aesthetics, shaped to likewise sounds and

Brussels, Belgium’s Snaretrade Records welcomes Ghent-based artist Gols onto its roster this September, the Hoot label boss delivers three original hazy, deep jams for the labels fifth release.
SNARETRADE : ‘’Next in line in the Snaretrade series is an EP by one of our favourite people: Gols. He operates the Hoot label, has released with Ghent label/party Ojoo and has been crafting tracks low key for a long time.
We start out with dessert: In Au bain marie we’re given some elegant yet hard to follow instructions on how to make the perfect chocolate mousse. DJ and Knetterbar operator Yentl kindly lent her voice, not knowing the recording would be used as a final take.
In Hundreds and Thousands, Gols weaves thick layers of percussion and synths, forming a dense and deep structure that pulls us in. In the midst of moving his music studio, this track was the last one to be recorded before pulling the plugs and boxing the gear up. On the flipside, Regrooved is a shuffling, sneaky and amusing bit of house that never really admits if it’s just arriving at the party, or just about to leave. After-hour fare for those who like something sweet after dinner. ‘’

Spincycle records presents the first imprint on their label - a two track EP from Mieka Du Franx and Mark Ambrose on 180g heavyweight vinyl.

After meeting at a gig in LA, Mieka and Mark hit the studio together and recorded these tracks in 2016. The result - two club ready house tracks with deep, spun out vocal takes. Side A, Wake Me Up (Dreaming Dub) leads the way with floating pads, warm echoing vocals and a dubbed out, pulsating bassline. Big after hours tip if you’re feeling a little playful. Side B, Wake Me Up comes in heavy with wonky deep house chords and Mark's signature syncopation, a treat for the later hours. 

We are honoured to present these works between two veterans of the electronic music scene. This record embodies both of the artists unwavering passion for underground music and fuses both their unique sonic aesthetics.

Started off by collecting them at a very young age, it was practically built in.
Growing up the way I did, I could resonate with the words and the message of old school HipHop, making it a true voice to the people, to those seeking hopes for  freedom through a culture of lyrical beats.
Now from spinning at private parties, gigs with Orient Express Beirut, and major gigs like Ballroom Blitz,
each crowd, each mindset and beat mastered the vibe of reviving the old school sounds.

But BA NX artistic vision doesn't stop at hip-hop. He explores the electronic realm through his alter ego, Mr. BANX , where he dives into the dynamic sounds of house music. Whether it's dropping old-school beats or electronic rhythms, his sets are a reflection of his deep-rooted love for music and his mission to connect with audiences on a soulful level.
