French producer Teho (http://soundcloud.com/teho/) is doing great this year with releases on Parquet, Cinematique, Inlab and MNL, he has recently been remixed by Oliver Lieb, Boss Axis, Lanny May and N'to. His unique live performance has been catching some attention and we hope he will keep touring around the world! He has recorded two driving original tracks for this Ep, both tracks are ready to rock any dance floor!

Teho has teamed up with Willy Real (http://soundcloud.com/willyreal01) to produce "La Comedie", Willy usually release music with David Prap on quality labels like Parquet and his new label Neko Music. We are happy to welcome back Micrologue (soundcloud.com/micrologue/) from Germany on the label. He delivers a beautiful dreamy interpretation of 'Nothing Gonna Change'. To close this release Van Did has done a groovy and hypnotic remix of "La Comedie".

2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

Out now: “New Atlantis”, the epic, psychedelic title track off of @Efdemin’s upcoming album out February 15, 2019 via Ostgut Ton.

Across 15 minutes, Efdemin’s experimental spirit is in full swing, with morphing drones/chords generated by a mix of Efdemin’s hurdy-gurdy and drum machines, Konrad Sprenger’s MIDI-controlled Stratocaster, Joachim Schütz’s electric guitar and Nika Son’s synthesizer – recorded live during the quartet’s Tony Conrad tribute concert in Hamburg. 

Album-wise, ‘New Atlantis’ oscillates between fast, kaleidoscopic techno, multilayered drones and acoustic instrumentation, fusing for the first time Sollmann’s deep dancefloor productions as Efdemin with his sound art and avant-garde music projects. The latter include 2017’s Harry Partch-inspired ‘Monophonie’ performance and 2018’s ‘Panama / Suez’ EP with Oren Ambarchi and Konrad Sprenger.

Sollmann took inspiration for ‘New Atlantis’ from Francis Bacon’s unfinished 17th century novel of the same name, which describes a fictional island devoted to social progress through the synthesis of art, science, technology and fashion.

Rene Wise, VIL, Rove Ranger and Fabian Wegmeth remix David Löhlein’s ‘VISION I – NYSA’ EP on Vision Ekstase.

Stuttgart’s David Löhlein has been involved in electronic music for a number of years and launched his Vision Ekstase event in his hometown of Stuttgart before providing the inaugural release on the newly formed label which picked up support from the likes of Ben Sims, Luke Slater, Efdemin and many more established names within the techno world. David now invites remixes from Mote-Evolver artist Rene Wise, Planet Rhythm producer VIL and Vision Ekstase residents Rove Ranger and Fabian Wegmeth. 

Rene Wise’s remix of ‘Altai’ is a rolling techno shaker featuring revolving percussion, shimmering bass grooves and the hypnotic vocal from the original floating above.
