“The Leper Kissed The Saint” is the last of a sonic essay trilogy (after “A Color Named Nothing” and “On Any One Of Those Notes”) that explores the presence of voice in independent recordings – this time inspired on R. D. Laing’s 1967 work “The Politics of Experience and The Bird of Paradise”.

This recording was aired 21.02.2024 on @lyl_radio for French label @disques-de-la-spirale, and released on limited edition hand-made tape. The C90 cassette contains 30 extra minutes of unreleased recording, exclusive for the physical format.

Found sounds create a sense of childhood wonder and nostalgia, while minimalistic yet powerful rhythms are paired with poignant atmospheres to encapsulate the emotional and tactile experience of connecting with the natural world. 

With influences ranging from ambient to jungle, each track is both a story and a mood, allowing you to soundtrack a sun-drenched afternoon lying in a meadow or a solitary walk through the forest at twilight.
