A Londoner, now based in the mountains in Norway - over the last decade, Ben has performed in over 40 countries, including Coachella Festival in California and @LostBeachClub in Ecuador.

The @PuzzleProjectsMusic and @HOT-GROOVERS label boss has been on fire in recent overseeing the rapid growth of the two record labels and the talented and diverse collectives of artists from over 30 countries leading to critical acclaim from publications such as DJ Mag, BBC, Billboard charts and support from countless, major underground artists across the genres of Disco, House & Techno worldwide.

As a music producer, Ben has released his original and unique take on Tech House, Minimal and Techno music to great success - regularly exploring and enjoying powerful studio collaborations with artists including @RonaldChristoph, @FlavioMPMusic and many other talented producers on his record labels.

His music has been consistently supported by many of the scenes biggest names including Maceo Plex, Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Steve Lawler, Nic Fanciulli, Claude Von Stroke, Chris Lake, Nicole Moudaber, Roger Sanchez, Riva Starr, Danny Rampling, Gene Farris, Eddie Amador, Seb Fontaine and many more.

A fierce supporter of unknown, established or megastar talent, Ben is also the man behind the sprawling PuzzleProjectsGroup, which operates several progressive concepts dedicated to the underground scene and the artists within, which include the chart-topping record labels @PuzzleProjectsMusic and @HOT-GROOVERS, the nomadic rave concept @PUZZLEDParties and the 360 business agency PuzzleProjectsCreate which provides services to a number of record labels and independent artists in the scene.

With the soon to be established booking agency PuzzleProjectsTalent and his third record label @ANIMALRECORDINGS in the works, there is no limit to what is to be achieved over time.

On the performance side, 2019 proved to be a huge year for Ben as bookings for him as a solo act and @PUZZLEDParties shows took him on a 19-country world tour in nine months, playing sell-out shows across Europe, Asia & Australia.

Despite the pandemic restrictions, Autumn 2021 saw Ben tour South America extensively, playing alongside artists such as @Rafa-Barrios.

2024 & 2025 will see Ben have multiple releases out in digital and vinyl format on @PuzzleProjectsMusic and @ANIMALRECORDINGS, whilst early 2024 will see Ben go on another tour of Europe and the Americas making debut shows in more countries.

Brisbane based trance DJ coming back after an 11 year hiatus away from DJing. 

DJ since '96 playing Afro, Latin, Reggae, Funk, Boogie, Beats, Hip-Hop, House and Disco. Has played parties for The Rolling Stones, WOMAD, OzAsia Festival etc and supported the likes of Mo' Horizons, Onra, Boozoo Bajou, Talvin Singh, Golden Rule. Le Blanc productions have appeared on Midnight Riot, Kat Records, Alpaca Edits, Kolour Ltd, Thunderjam, Mulit-Culti, Masterworks Music, The Playground, ISM, Ganbatte, Princely International and more.

Melbourne based producer and DJ Sgt Slick has been a solid fixture behind the decks and on dance music charts and radio for the better part of 20 years. He has a huge list of achievements to his name including ARIA / APRA Awards and nominations, Billboard, Music Week, Traxsource & Beatport # 1 Records, and a string of successful music releases. Armed with a continuous delivery of his trademark ‘Discotizer ReCuts’, he also produced the crossover radio hit and ARIA Gold Certified ABBA cover, ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!’ in 2020 (Beatport’s highest selling Nu Disco single of all time!)… a track which is still filling dance floors in 2024 and one which has seen The Sarge headlining the nation’s biggest clubs and events week after week since. He has graced the cover of Spotify’s esteemed ‘New Dance Beats’ playlist twice, is ranked # 6 on Beatport’s highest selling artists of all time in the ‘Nu Disco’ genre, and reached the # 1 position on Shazam’s Discovery Australia Chart! His recent remixes and productions have earnt him regular support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Diplo, Fisher, Vintage Culture, Kygo and Tame Impala, whilst at home he continues to land in the upper reaches of the ARIA Club Chart with every release. With his past releases encompassing some of Australia’s finest moments in dance music history, Sgt Slick remains one of the nation’s most prominent and enduring industry figures, continually pushing forward as a world class DJ, Producer and Remixer.

dL's Bio

I grew up in a house where instead of watching television we would sit around as a family and listen to my dad play records. As a very serious collector he would often take me to record fairs from the age of about 8 years old. You could say an apple never falls far from the tree, except where my father sought out obscure 60's british rock, I seek out good quality music from musicians that played from the heart, be they jazz, soul, reggae, afro, folk or what ever.
I started djing locally in the early 90's in clubs, then progressed to entering and placing in various competitions including DMC and ITF. In around 2001 I started taking the whole dj/record collecting thing a little more seriously which saw me djing in many places around Australia and digging for records all over the world. I have shared stages and warmed up with every one from Gangstarr, MOP, Raekwon, Cut Chemist, P.U.T.S, Short Kut, De La Soul, Rob Swift, Mista Sinista, Roc Raida, Rhettmatic, Babu, Dilated Junkies, Dj Krush, Rip One,The Alkaholiks and Lyrics Born through to leading Aussie acts like The Hilltop Hoods,Delta, M-Phazes and Koolism.
Since 2002 I have also started making my own music which has included a long standing association with 7 piece jazz fusion band Sukatash, and the up coming Decades release on CH records. Also check my blog for exclusive funk/soul/hip hop edits.
Some of the mixes I make are recorded straight from the mixer into a tape deck, some are recorded and multi tracked, some are made to make people dance, some are made to make people think, but all are made for every one who has a genuine love of music to enjoy.
