The 244th release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint welcomes Gavin Rochford to the label with his Zinc EP. Last year Gavin made his debut on Sound Avenue's "Correlation Vol.3" with the beautiful "Downplay" track and recently released music on labels such as Henry Saiz "Natura Sonoris" and One Of A Kind.

For our 43rd release, we're excited to introduce - Bachir Salloum for his debut appearance on Juicebox Music. Based in Dubai (UAE) since 2014, the Lebanese-born artist gathered immediate attention with solo signings on Guy Mantzur's 'Plattenbank', Hernan Cattaneo's 'Sudbeat' and memorable collaborations with fellow comrades - Z0ne+ and Memory (ARG). Bachir's musical diversity landed him a slot at the famed first edition of Guy J's 'We Are Lost' Festival back in 2018. With a style that ranges from Deep House to Progressive House, he hones in on his love of grooves and melodies and with that motto in mind, Bachir Salloum delivers a 2-tracker on our Indian label. With no time to waste, the title track "Of Time and Space" launches the EP in full swing through it's dark, rolling drive aimed for the peak-hours while "Illusions" reflects his quirky and hypnotic after-hours side.

Another artist making his debut appearance on the label is Villa Mercedes (Argentina) resident - Fabri Lopez. With recent releases on Tash's 'Movement Recordings', Max Freegrant's 'Freegrant Music' and Juan Pablo Torres' 'Clubsonica', Fabri Lopez's aims straight for the progressive house fanatics with a sound that ranges from the smooth and euphoric to aggressive and epic. We called him in to give Bachir Salloum's 'Of Time and Space' the latter treatment with a beefier low-end and a big chord-filled breakdown moment.

Bangalore (India) based artist - Weird Sounding Dude makes his much-awaited return to Juicebox Music after his massive 5-track 'Arcade' EP. Nearly a decade of productions under his belt and on a constant rising trajectory, Weird Sounding Dude cemented his presence in the industry with exemplary original releases, highlighted by signings on Nick Warren's 'Soundgarden' and Hernan Cattaneo's 'Sudbeat', as well as highly praised remixes for Dmitry Molosh and Ziger. For his remix of Bachir Salloum's "Of Time and Space", Weird Sounding Dude effortlessly twists the original elements while injecting his trademark components - smooth percussive work, spacey synths and bouncy grooves.

 My dream from a young age was to become a DJ, so when i made some money i bought my first DJ controller. I started from scratch learning on youtube, had a lot of gigs (nothing major tho). My goal isn't just to be known locally, so I started producing to get more attention. I like every genre of electronic music but my true winner is anjunadeep/progressive style. Finnish phenom Cid Inc is delicate with his take, homing in on the palatial lead with extraordinary diligence and finesse. A highlight from the iTunes #1 compilation ‘Anjunadeep 07’, Ryan Davis’ melancholic beauty ‘Brun’ gets reworked by two leading lights of the European underground, Luca Bacchetti and Matthias Meyer. Over the past decade Ryan Davis has carved out his own niche, with a unique brand of melodic techno, attracting wide-spread support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Jonas Rathsman, Stephan Bodzin and Max Cooper.

We're bringing this one to you at the request of Speaking In Tongues. A special release for the duo; it features all Los Angeles-based artists, including the city's biggest techno export, Palette/Kompakt artist, John Tejada.

His original production, paired with local indie artist, Adult Karate, is a mixture of dub, modular and even slightly industrial sounds. Speaking In Tongues take it from it’s original 105 BPM, ramp it up, strip it down and trip it out with a long, sustained growling bassline and a Depeche Mode-inspired synth hook. Having left most of the vocals up front, they create an array of soundscapes using grainular reverb. Chopping them up to create an epic dancefloor moment.

'Making his debut for Hope Recordings this year is the irrepressible Kamilo Sanclemente with a four track EP, featuring the talents of partners, Dabeat and Muaro Aguirro.   

The Columbian artist has really hit his stride in recent times with a string of high profile signings to Mango Alley, UV and Balance Music. A DJ for over 20 years now with a residency in his home town of Cali, Kamilo’s rise has been meteoric and has gained him widespread support after being championed by Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren.   

Opening the EP is ‘Kessell’ with long term production partner, Dabeat. Twisted synths and a sparse kick/percussion arrangement lead us into wonky bass notes, twinkly arps and epic sweeps creating a masterful, otherworldly sonic journey. Next up is ‘Odin’, a robust subtly tribal groover. Gaining momentum quickly, the synth energy powers this the final bar. Thirdly, we have ‘Dream Walker’, a soulful vocal number which will excite and energise the floor. Finally, Kamilo teams up with Muaro Aguirro for ‘Cosmos’, an epic end of nighter with spoken word vocals and boundless soulful energy '

The latest release from Clubsonica Records finds D.J. MacIntyre returning for a new single alongside Juan Ibanez who makes his label debut. American artist D.J. MacIntyre made his first appearance on the Colombian imprint in May of 2020 with the chart topping 'Conquistador'. As one of Beatport's perennial best-selling artists, the Santa Barbara resident continues to explore progressive music and its related derivatives through releases via Freegrant Music, Droid9 and his own SLC-6 imprint. Hailing from Argentina, Juan Ibanez has been touted as one of his country's rising talents since first appearing in 2019. Support from world class DJ Hernan Cattaneo, along with releases for Antrim's Or Two Strangers have etched Juan's place amongst progressive music's top up and comers. Now continuing their creative partnership, D.J. MacIntyre and Juan Ibanez land on Clubsonica with 'Haumea', alongside remixes from Fabri Lopez and Andre Moret.

Bound by a love for rhythm and groove, the cross-continental duo have crafted one of their most engaging creations to date in 'Haumea'. Pulsating beats, clattering drums and astral sonics begin the seven-minute journey. Senses heighten as striking chord stabs and cosmic arps unite across a swirling, tension filled backdrop. Anticipatory and dramatic, the main break continues to elevate mood with phasing noise, before a powerful drum roll sparks a thumping drop and electric finale.

Returning to the label and providing the first interpretation of 'Haumea' is Fabri Lopez. With two remixes over the last two years, the Argentinean artist has found a comfortable home on the Colombian imprint. With continued support from progressive music's key tastemakers, Fabri is coming off his best and most prolific year to date. Continuing that momentum as the new year begins, Fabri makes a welcome return to Clubsonica with a powerful remix of 'Haumea'. Backed by a full, driving groove, the Villa Mercedes resident has carved out a strong foundation, complemented with fluid pulses and percussive drive. Electric in design and hypnotic in scope, its glassy arps and shimmering overlays slowly descend over the framework, eventually carrying the piece into an emotive break. As the groove strips down, fragmented melodies and impassioned chord changes rise, opening up for moments of reflective warmth, before a gentle rush shifts energy into a heavenly finale.

The final interpretations of 'Haumea' are provided by Andre Moret who returns to the label for his second appearance. Amidst much praise, the Brazilian's Clubsonica debut 'Recover' landed in January of 2020, setting the course for a breakout year. Droid9, Freegrant Music and Mango Alley also played host to Andre's progressive sounds, while Hernan Cattaneo continued with his steadfast support. Now returning to Clubsonica for his first remix, Andre delivers two stunning renditions of 'Haumea'. Energetic and groovy in equal measure, Andre's main mix perfectly characterizes his clean, buoyant production style. A spacious foundation provides an immense sense of space, as lively percussion and playful electronics carry a wonderful dancefloor sensibility. Fragmented vocals and a shimmering arp further the narrative as the first act evolves, ultimately leading to dramatic break and thrilling drop. Meanwhile, Andre's 'Night' Mix stays to true to the main themes from his main mix, while opting for a fuller groove and greater peak time appeal. Building beautifully, kaleidoscopic arps and a wave of sizzling effects unite for a dynamic moment during the break, perfectly foreshadowing a striking final movement. Two stunning renditions from the fast-rising Brazilian artist, rounding out another must have offering from Clubsonica Records.
