Music Jamie Clark, Lyrics Leah Cotterell, Red Rose was inspired by a set of sandstone stairs on the bank of the river at the old Brisbane Botanic Gardens and local history reportage that the gardens were used by 'free range' prostitutes at the end of the 19th Century.
