Agwáde'gë:shö = Seneca Language for, "We are related" 

The words to this song were inspired by the Haudenosaunee lands I live on, my Celtic heritage, & the Native American Proverb, "Those who tell the stories rule the world." The melody came to me after a gratitude ceremony. 

My intention is to evoke a visceral experience of inter-connectedness, inter-dependence, our Indigenous histories, & reverence for the Earth & her abundant gifts. 

The Stories of My Home

It has been quite some time since the last time we gathered for a night of MBTS. I wanted to take some time after the pandemic to be quiet and see how the dance music scene would evolve, and what sounds would come out of the standstill that was Covid. Now that I have a good sense of where I want to be sonically, and what kind of energy I want to spread onto dance floors, I am ready to restart MBTS in 2023. They say there are people
walking among us
who once lived in an ocean of water
and swam through an ocean of consciousness
as if ocean, and body, and universe, were all the same thing.

These oceanic beings-- let us call them whale, were connected 
To the cloud beings whose tears watered Earth
To the rooted ones, whose hearts healed Earth
And to the land walkers, who sang, chanted, and spoke Earth into being. 

And once upon a time
those ocean beings
and land walkers
were kindreds. 

as the most ancient story of the universe lived through them
It is that story that brings us together tonight 
a story about 
giving
and receiving. 

In this ancient story …
When the land walkers asked for a life
The whale beings gave a life

A when gratitude was offered…
A pathway between body and spirit was forged 
An exchange was made

As The spirit of the whale 
was invited to live through the body of the land walkers, 

in this way
Even death 
led to more life 

This was not written down. 
There was no signing of a contract. 
It was just known. 
Until one day… it wasn’t


The agreement was broken.  


And 
When this ancient law of the universe 
Of asking, giving, receiving, gratitude 
-- was broken

A curse was cast on the land walkers:

The more they took, 
the hungrier they get. 

They say that is when Greed was born. 
But that is another story. 

In this story—
Some of those whale beings, 
Decided they weren’t going to join the death march led by Killing and Greed that was slaughtering their aunts and uncles, murdering their mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers. 

They were going to make good on the ancient agreement between their ancestors 
So they decided to leave their oceanic world 
So they could walk again on earth through the bodies of the descendants of those ancestors. 

Because they would need to walk among the two leggeds
to put an end to those who were interrupting the flow of life.


But the old ones warned them: 
you can’t kill the being that is killing 
and get to the source 
of what is living through them.  

When you Get to the source of their anguish
you will get to the source of what is causing the disruption of life –
THAT is what you must hunt down

And the elders warned them
It is dangerous going from one world to another: 
There is the risk of forgetting who and what you are in the process

And then they warned them: 
You can’t rush to show the truth of who and what you really are
you must be patient and wait

Because the disruption you will face has become very powerful
And there is strength in numbers and you will need others to protect you. 
They youngers whales thanked the elders for their warnings

Because you see, (the elders explained) 

you are not alone on this mission
There will be others 
The fairy folk will join you: they have a bone or two to pick with those takers
And the elphan will be there, cleverly disguised, no longer willing to be stepped on or over. 
The plant deities will start speaking through the voices of humans
The mer people will rise and walk among you
And the dragons will fly again

Look for the signs 
for when Earth recognizes that enough of you have made it through, 
She will shake awake all who are still forgetting

Now of course there is no guarantee 
how long it will take
or that everyone will arrive
or .. that you will make it out alive.

And you look into the eyes of elders
And you listen 
before you speak
you are loved
You have always been loved
And you will always be love.

When We Were Whales

To celebrate one of my favorite albums of all-time (if not my number 1 favorite!) I put together this rework. Do not expect an official release.

J tells a story about how he got over stuttering by sharing about what he loved most.. his turtles talks. 

J was an incredibly passionate visionary who dedicated his life to protecting the ocean. His warm heart, his love of turtles, his blue mind, will always be with us.

This set is mostly created with sounds collected from all over the world, in order to add an ethnic feeling to my livesets. 
I did not take time to focus on details or shape the sound too much, so most tracks are yet unfinished and it has a very spontaneous vibe to me. 
Thus I rather consider the set as a "preview" of what might come out soon. Still decided to upload it though, to challenge my terrible lack of musical output;)

Dear friends,
After a long time of hibernation it is time to reappear on the surface of the internet, I guess.
As many of you have been asking, I made a recording that continues the story of my „Travel Diary“, which started over two years ago.
So I am very happy to finally share „Travel Diary Part 2“ with you today!
It consists of tracks I produced over the course of this time, but never released or even used them for live playing. So now I am taking the opportunity to let them „out of the box“.
I really hope you enjoy it and to catch some of you at one of my upcoming summer shows!

Also I wanna take the chance to thank you all so much for your support over the past year, even though I had no musical output! 
It reminds me of the famous words by the poet Hafez, who said:

-  Even after all this time, the sun never says to the earth “you owe me“.
Look what happens with a love like that. It lights the whole sky.  -

Travel Diary (Part 2) by  JAVID  *Liveset*

In Our Greatest Fears Lie Our Biggest Gifts with Richard Rudd


Perhaps the biggest irony in human existence is that by facing our largest fears we find our greatest freedom. This is one of the many prophetic truths that Richard Rudd tells, and today he joins us on the show to talk about what the current state of the world means from a cosmic perspective. Richard is a teacher, mystic, and award-winning poet, and in his book, Gene Keys, he synthesises practical wisdom to help guide readers to a deeper understanding of themselves and their true potential. In this episode, Richard uses the state of unrest the world is in as a springboard to guide listeners into a state of perception that considers a far wider set of facts. What this moment is really doing to humanity is making them face the fear of death, a fundamental fear which we should be facing, which indigenous cultures have faced through rituals for millennia, but which our modern society has built itself around the avoidance of. We need to face this fear and move through it because on the other side lies our redemption. 


Our global system has become too over-developed, and like any system, it is now beginning to self-regulate by culling itself. Richard uses the analogy of the transformation of the dragonfly, a creature which spends some of its life in darkness only to morph completely, to describe this moment. If we consider ‘deep time’, an infinite universe with cycles, births, and rebirths, what we are going through now becomes much easier to face. Toward the end of our time with Richard, he also talks about contemplation, an art that starts with pausing and leads us to the higher states of our consciousness where many of the truths he speaks about today become more self-evident.
