The By & By are a new Boston band taking a fresh approach to American Roots music. Here, we've dug up some of our favorite traditional tunes---tunes we learned from dusty recordings, hymnals, mentors and friends---and approached them with a shared language of jazz and improvisation. The resulting music is inventive and yet familiar, forging new territory for the American string band sound.
