SESIÓN 1. DISTOPÍAS VS UTOPÍAS. ¿Es más fácil imaginar el fin del mundo que alternativas al capitalismo?

Introduce: Francisco Martorell Campos (doctor en filosofía, escritor e investigador en pensamiento utópico)

Antes de lanzar hipótesis, las preguntas se agolpan en nuestras curiosidades: ¿a qué llamamos utopía, cuál es su función?, ¿cabría decir que la utopía está hoy atrapada en una crisis?, ¿qué significa pensar que la historia se ha detenido?, ¿cuáles serían las raíces políticas y económicas de una subjetividad distópica bastante extendida?, ¿cómo se reactiva la máquina de la historia? ¿Cabe ver luces al final del túnel? ¿Qué alimentaría, qué está alimentando ya, imaginarios capaces de reiventar horizontes de vida más deseables? ¿Por qué parece más fácil imaginar el fin del mundo que alternativas al capitalismo?
