Laszlo was born in North East Hungary. After living for almost a decade in the UK, he has now returned to his roots and moved back to Budapest, to find further inspiration in his home country.

The decision was certainly fruitful for him and managed to release tracks on Spring Tube, Chrom Recordings,3rd Avenue,OLD SQL Recordings.  Laszlo just started his Ourway podcast. His goal is to bring you fresh mixes three times a month, from well-known and upcoming dj’s all around the world.

It is always the great pleasure for me to play with Peter Makto. It was the 3rd time Peter invited me to play on their summer event at A38 in Budapest.

This time it was even more special, because the day of the event fell on my birthday.
SOL7 was with us and played a great warm up set, then I took over the DJ booth and Peter Makto closed the event.

I couldn't ask for a better celebration. I really enjoyed it, I hope you like the set.

SAKURA:

The cherry blossom has a legendary religious cult in Japan, and the festival of hanami, or “flower viewing,” has now conquered the whole world.
The admiration for sakura – the word itself means cherry tree and its blossom – is linked to a legend: the goddess of Fuji, Konohana Sakuya Hime, revived the dead flowers every spring and decorated the most sacred mountain of the Japanese with cherry blossoms.

Thus, sakura became the main symbol of the arrival of spring and revival, the petals of the flower symbolize constant renewal, rebirth, while the primrose, due to its life, special beauty and quick death, symbolizes mortality, the passing away that comes with life.

Bushido (the way of the warrior) is a strict code of conduct that defines the lifestyle of the Japanese samurai, somewhat similar to the ideal of chivalry.
It places great emphasis on moderation, simplicity, loyalty, the practice of martial arts, and the honor of a warrior.

Zen Buddhism taught its followers to calmly trust fate, to accept the inevitable, to disregard life, and to have a friendly relationship with death.

Laszlo Barany aka. Leap Seconds was born in North East Hungary.
Having lived in the United Kingdom for over a decade, he has now returned to his roots and moved back to Budapest, to find further inspiration in his home country.

" I prefer not to define my taste of music. I love to play a variety of styles from Ambient, Chill Out ,Electronica,Deep House to Organic House through Progressive House. When assorting music for a mix, the key points I look for are emotions and meaningful melodies. These are important aspects that I also apply in my productions. I love to express my emotions through music and sounds, as these are much better story-tellers than words."
