Adding a personal touch to their Trad segment, they are set to interview Mairead Ní Mhaoinigh from Altan, providing listeners with an exclusive and insightful perspective. In the realm of sports, the students are geared up for conversations with notable figures such as Darren Murphy, the manager of Finn Harps, and Killian McLaughlin, the visionary Founder of Wild Ireland.

15 Transition Year students take over Galway Bay FM for a special 2-hour program on Saturday 30th November with Learning Waves and The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.

In March of 2020, 11 students took part in Spin South West's #TYMediaWeek. This saw many of the students walk away with a fresh perspective on the radio industry, having learned some tricks of the trade. Getting a sneak peak behind the scenes and some hands-on experience, the students round up their week in this clip.
