Depeche Mode - A Question Of Lust, September 5th, 2009 - Ft. Lauderdale, Bank Atlantic

Producing and performing a Pet shop boys cover was really really long overdue, probably since I started singing, since my artist name was Lalo "PSB".
But it was really difficult for me because it had to be the best cover I'd ever produced.
So I took my time, experienced a lot and when I was really sure I could do it. I started with this, one of my favourites of all times.
It is undoubtedly the hardest and fullest I've ever did. It has tons of layers and synths, the drums are really complicated, the tracks are so tweaked,
I did it all from scratch, just using samples for the initial speech on french, and the bombs samples at the end.
Then everything is 100% Lalo Psb.

I was worried that my computer wouldn't take it. And it fact it broke a few days later. Expired burnt to the core.

So, that's one of the reasons I'm not recording the voice track.
The other reason was that I'm so proud of what I did that I want you to experience music in its full form.
And, why not?, trying to pose as Neil Tennant and sing your lungs out.

When I performed it next weekend, The audience reception was enormous, it was the best received track of the night, and the following nights too.
By the way, that pic was taken as I was singing it live.
When I told my friends I was doing PSB, they went, FINALLY!!!! But they never expected I'm not scared.

Just another attempt in this genre, reconsidering an old tune and planning to modify things. Work in progress: still needs instrumental and vocal  arrangements, and maybe the intervention of a pro rapper in a future, but not sure enough about that.
A sad romantic Hip Hop track, but containing certain elements that could aproach it to a gangsta/epic hip hop style.
