Pic Schmitz nasceu na cidade de Porto Alegre em 8 de março de 1980, batizado com o nome de Pedro Henrique. Foi daí que surgiu o apelido que o acompanha desde então, o “P” de Pedro e “ique” de Henrique formavam a palavra “Pique”, que para abreviar a escrita se tornou “Pic”. Um garoto que precocemente foi introduzido ao universo musical seja nas aulas de música da sua escola, seja pela sua família, já que a mãe admirava MPB e o pai jazz e música clássica.
O gaúcho Pic Schmitz é um dos principais nomes da cena eletrônica brasileira e possui uma longa carreira com mais de 2 mil apresentações. Seus sets têm forte influência dos clássicos da house music, mas também contam com a versatilidade das tendências atuais, cumprindo com maestria o papel de preencher cada canto das pistas de dança com música boa e muita energia.
Pic já marcou presença nos principais clubs e festas do Brasil e do mundo como Encore Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival Peru, Privilège Ibiza, Blue Marlin Ibiza, Hed Kandi Amsterdam, Ibiza e Punta del Este, assim como residência no Reveillón Unique Punta del Este, Winter Play, Posh Club e Café de la Musique Floripa, Provocateur Porto Alegre, entre muitos outros.
Quando o assunto é produção, destaca-se o remix da música “Dentro de um Abraço” do Jota Quest que já atingiu a marca de 1 milhão de plays no Spotify, além do sucesso das versões de “Primeiros Erros (Chove)” e “Lágrimas e Chuva” com Toni Garrido e George Israel, assim como as produções autorais “The World Goes Round”, “It's True” e “I Don't Care”.
