Neue private Playlist

Musicien éclectique à la personnalité chaleureuse, DJ Mehdi a illuminé l’âge d’or du rap français des années 90-2000. Il a donné un « son » aux quartiers populaires avec le tube du groupe 113 « Tonton du bled » et bien d'autres. Mais il a aussi fait des excursions électroniques dans la « french touch » avec Justice ou Daft Punk. Il a donc réconcilié le hip hop et l'électro à une époque où c'était mal vu, voire impossible ! Éditeur du magazine Rockyrama, Johan Chiaramonte s’attache au parcours de Mehdi Faveris Essadi aka DJ Mehdi, trop tôt disparu (à 34 ans !) le 13 septembre 2011. Le podcast va à la rencontre de ceux avec qui il a travaillé, de ses débuts en banlieue à l'âge de 14 ans (Manu Key de Mafia K'1 Fry) à ses complices à Paris : Pedro Winter du label Ed Banger, Romain Gavras de Kourtrajmé, Xavier de Rosnay du groupe Justice, le journaliste rap Arnaud Fraisse, le compositeur et chef d'orchestre Thomas Roussel. Tous participent à remettre son oeuvre en contexte, et surtout donnent à entendre l'originalité du son de DJ Mehdi.

Johan Chiaramonte grandit dans les années 80, ce qui lui permet plus tard, après avoir longuement étudié Pif Gadget et Strange, de créer les revues de cinéma Rockyrama et Otomo. En parallèle il réalise une trentaine de documentaires pour la télévision, toujours sur le cinéma qui semble être son obsession. Amoureux de radio, dès son plus jeune âge il s’endort la radio allumée, de préférence avec des gens qui parlent doucement, et se lance pour la première fois dans le documentaire audio.

L'épilogue est extrait d'un entretien avec DJ Mehdi par Silvain Gire en octobre 2002.

Nouvelle invitée d'Azdin dans son émission "Take Off" : Nadège Rêve ! (tracklist below)

Nadège Rêve découvre la musique électronique à l’âge de 15 ans sur les ondes de Couleur 3. C’est à la fin des années 90 qu’elle s'initie au djing et rejoint la team d’Extra Records, un disquaire lyonnais. Elle s'investit en tant que Dj locale et mixe également à L’Ambassade, temple de la house et du garage à Lyon. En 2006, elle intègre le label indépendant BEE Records et défend pendant 10 ans les artistes-producteurs du label orientés IDM et electronica. Son objectif est de proposer une version décloisonnée de la musique électronique, quitte à bousculer les habitudes et rendre plus poreuses les frontières entre les styles. Ses sets sont éclectiques alors ne soyez pas surpris si vous entendez de l’électro côtoyer de la bass music, de la house ou encore de la techno. Peut-être même qu’elle vous emmènera encore ailleurs, qui sait ?

Artificio’s cofounders, Passq (fka Arcane Prospect) and Rainmaker, take their sound in bold new directions with a four-track EP that mixes raw energy with sharp, forward-thinking production. Kicking off with «Midas Touch», Rainmaker blends his techno and ambient roots with fresh ideas, setting the tone for what’s to come—deep basslines and rich atmospheres that hint at his past while pushing into new territory.

Passq follows with «Sin Perse» and «Randy», where intricate sound design, distorted rhythms, and heavy bass are combined with a touch of dark humor. The EP closes with «Amour Fou», a “hyperbass” track, filled with both longing and optimism, echoing a desire for transformation.

A Fuego Y A Fondo is Artificio's statement of intent—a fierce commitment to pushing sound to its edges, challenging norms, and keeping dance music untamed.

This Vinyl addict, Bavaria based producer is leading his alter ego Snübrovc.Urschk of fucked up Punk Electronic music and design lovers. He is also known as Fred 500 or Hackepeter United. He manages Abseits Recordings together with his friend Dreibot and is graphic designer at "Fümpfhundat". 
His set is really bumpin' in your face with some vinyl DJ tricks well placed and a very good sense in combining various styles of darkness from dark techno of Cristian Vogel, through the breakbeat from buckfunk 3000 and closing with dark I-F electro!
