Born in San Sebastian-Donostia (North of Spain) and settled in Barcelona since 2003, Paula has been walking her case since the late 90s through the best venues and festivals in Spain, Europe and South America, highlighting her presence in such important events as Awakenings, DGTL, Brunch in the Park, Dreambeach, Aquasella ...

Her beginnings were spent combining her studies of audiovisual production and sound technician with events on weekends in venues throughout the Basque Country. When she moved to Barcelona, she started DJing and organizing parties with local collectives in venues such as La Cova, making an important place for herself on the Barcelona scene until today.

As an artist, we find ourselves in front of a real DJ, without frills. Her sessions are built in the purest old school style: Technique, fast and smart mixes, versatility and eclecticism. She is characterized by hooking the listener on a journey without rest that can encompass everything from groove to dark and raw sounds, always with that unmistakable signature. We cannot classify Paula in a specific Techno sub-style, but we can say that we are talking, most of the time, of forcefulness. From her beginnings, she was influenced from artists as diverse as James Ruskin, The Advent, Ben Sims, Surgeon or Slam, to name a few. We are talking about an artist in constant evolution who has known how to adapt to the times, always faithful to Techno.

In her role as a producer, we go back to the middle of 2000, when she began to edit Techno productions on vinyl in the international market. Her works during the past decades alone and with A. Professor with other akas such as Daisychain and Secret Labz paid off, thus achieving a more important place on the international scene with European tours and major festivals. It is also worth mentioning the vinyl references that came out on her first label Grind Records, whose first release had a great success in 2009 until it sold out, receiving the support of many influential DJs on the scene. We can find his productions in a large number of European labels till today.

Since 2017, she has been immersed in the management of her Combine Audio record label where they have released works by recognized Techno artists such as Ben Sims, Ken Ishii, DJ Shufflemaster, Patrik Skoog, Gayle San ... along with more established and emerging artists. Combine Audio has carved a niche for itself on the national techno label scene and has received the support of many artists worldwide. As she well says "This label is not for me, it is for everyone" and with it she intends to support many national artists to keep the scene alive and make it grow.

A mix that was recorded live in Los Angeles at a fundraiser for upcoming documentary film called “Bight Of The Twin”. The film is directed by Hazel Hill McCarthy and features Genesis BREYER P-ORRIDGE (Throbbing Gristle, & Psychic TV) exploring the roots of Voodoo tribes in Benin Africa. Also playing that night was Douglas McCarthy of Nitzer Ebb, Silent Servant, & Eight Frozen Modules.

The name Hans Bouffmyhre was born in the summer of 2006, when a group of friends decided to start their own techno night in a dark basement in Paisley, Scotland. The first night was a massive success and the rest is now history.

10 years later Hans Bouffmyhre is an established artist within the worldwide techno scene. Having released music on some of the worlds most esteemed techno labels like Soma Records, Electric Deluxe, Perc Trax and others. Meanwhile his own label Sleaze Records goes from strength to strength, firmly stapled as one of the best techno labels in the UK.

Hans has been lucky enough to play regular DJ sets at some of the biggest and most well known clubs in the world, from the infamous Berghain / Panorama Bar in Berlin, to Melkweg Amsterdam, Rex Club in Paris, Sub Club in Glasgow amongst many others. He is known for bringing a high impact, energetic style. Still only in his late 20's and with already so much experience as a DJ, producer, label manager and party organiser, the future looks bright for Hans Bouffmyhre.

With this solo project, Pierre has produced several EPs since 2015, inspired by the classic English techno scene such as Surgeon or Planetary Assault Systems. With Epic live sets, Moteka as become one of the leading act of the french label Skryptom with a dark, percussive, hypnotic techno and perfectly mastered production skills.

He is also very active as part of the truly exiting live alliance project "Möd3rn" (@m-d3rn) composed of french producers, Electric Rescue (head master of label Skryptöm records) and Maxime Dangles (sound wizard and former pillar of Kompakt records ) and : Kmyle. For the occasion, Möd3rn is renamed as Möd4rn !

Revelation Of Sound is pleased to present DEAS who is based in Cracow/Poland and born in Greece. He is a music producer and DJ, who is fast becoming one of Techno's most exciting breakthrough artists originating from Eastern Europe. One can recognize DEAS' Greek origins and East European upbringing in his music, where enthusiasm and fantasy blends in varying shades of Techno.

He believes that music "is never a subject to stereotypes and clichés". This allows him to think freely and create music without boundaries, in which psychedelics and raw, heavy Techno is balanced to perfection with memorable, warm but yet deep melodies.

Not yet 30, he has been mastering his production skills for a decade. During this time he developed an impressive studio where most of his music is recorded live. His hard work is presently coming into a full effect with the releases of a number of labels ranging from Pan-Pot's Second State, through Planet Rhythm, Bush Records, OFF Recordings to Kevin Sanderson's KMS Records. Deas is also a highly sought-after remixer with previous works done for such legends like Carl Cox or Inner City.

His productions received great feedback and are strongly endorsed by Pan-Pot, Ilario Alicante, Kangding Ray, Kevin Sanderson to name just a few. DEAS's music is also featured and supported by such music magazines as Mixmag, Dj Mag, Big Shot Magazine, Decoded Magazine, Magnetic Magazine, Datatransmission and so on.

It is not that often you see such broadly developed artist, like Karol, who is equally skilled in the production studio and behind the decks. He already holds 2 residencies in Poland premier venues, Smolna since 2017 and Prozak 2.0 (since 2012). He has recently appeared among others twice in Berlin and also at the Amsterdam Dance Event. This artist regularly marks his presence at the largest Polish festivals like Open'er or Audioriver.

It's now day 4 of our Magnetic Mix 100 celebration, and the weekend is here. That means it's time to kick things up a notch and get the BPMs rising. So far, we've had Anakim, Matt Ossentjuk, and Kane, three of LA's rising stars provide three excellent mixes, and today's guest keeps the energy moving. Our guest today is Canadian newcomer Shadowside, a Ravecore, Techno, and Hard Trance producer with an already lengthy back catalog ready for action. Although the alias might be new, as an artist she has ten years of experience under her belt. In accordance with our little celebration, she's prepared something extra special just for this occasion. 

Where the previous sets were traditional mixes weaving in and out of various genres, Shadowside has done a full producer set and has packed 17 original tracks into a powerful and hammering hour-long mix. While she's yet to release any music, it's safe to say that she'll have no shortage of high-quality releases in the future.
