{|L~Ch|} - A Place For The Lonely Heart

This is a demo track I made for the FREE Kontakt library "Ethereal Earth" by Native Instruments. 
Ethereal Earth is a very handy yet powerful texture synthesizer you can use to create sci-fi sounds and much, much more unrealistic stuff. 
What makes it different than other instruments is that it supports effect modulation and can give you great results even when you're just randomising the initial preset!

Back with another track! For this one I only used sounds from the Roland Fantom X synth I have (except the white noise SFX). I tried to get this to sound vintage, and the recording and editing process of it was quite interesting. So nowadays it's impossible to record on a tape, so to get that weird low-quality sound I used some old TS cables and a very old audio interface. This added some noise instantly. Then I did some standard modern processing in the DAW, and compressors made that noise way more audible. On top of that, I saturated everything and added some vintage effects to get a warm sound. 

Recording and production was done in Ableton Live 11, processing and mixing was done in Cubase 12.
External FX used: Steinberg, Ableton, Slate Digital, A.O.M. 
Tempo: 1/4 = 120 bpm
Time Signature: 4/4
Key: F minor
