Good morning, and welcome to the quietest week of the year. Did you have a good holiday? Before I sign off for the year, I think I’ve got one more gem to share with you. Here's a wonderful label showcase and a reflection on this past year from a lovely independent Valencia-based imprint, Archives, curated and operated by Agustín Mena, aka Warmth. I’ve profiled plenty of its releases since its inception in 2015, and I must admit that Warmth’s Parallel (2018) has been on repeat more than others. If anything, it is only rivalled by Glow, which is his collaboration with Fionnlagh, recently released on December 8th, 2023 (you’ll hear a few tracks on this mix). Matt is the author of The Psychedelic DJ: A Practical Guide to Therapeutic Music Curation and Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy (https://a.co/d/3Rj3G4r), a guide for facilitators and psychonauts that combines DJ techniques, counseling, music curation, and psychedelic therapy. As a seasoned DJ, mental health counselor, and psychedelic guide, his work sits at the crossroads of music, healing, and expanded consciousness.

With over 30 years of experience exploring sound and psychedelics—from pioneering New York City’s early ’90s psytrance scene to cofounding the techno/house label Railyard Recordings—Matt eventually shifted his focus from nightlife to clinical psychology. Today, he runs Integrated Psychedelics (https://integratedpsychedelics.com), a private practice dedicated to guided journeywork, preparation, and integration support for psychedelic experiences.

In Matt's words:

"Psilocybin Therapy Protocol 2: The Shadow" is the second part of a four-hour DJ mix series I've created from hundreds of live psychedelic therapy sessions. Following Protocol 1 – The Light (available via ASIP's Isolated Mix Series at https://tinyurl.com/isolatedmix132), which focused on major chords and sublimation, this sequel encourages deeper exploration using minor chord progressions to uncover hidden aspects of the psyche.

Structured around the shared arc of the Hero’s Journey & psilocybin mushroom experience (departure, initiation, return) these mixed protocols blend ambient textures, cinematic scores, and pulses of techno/house to support inner transformation. An ideal tool for guided sessions, solo journeys, or deep listening.

Inhmost is one of the monikers of S.Huxtable who wanted a representation for the more ambient and downtempo works that he creates which would allow the freedom of expression within these genres.

The goal of the Inhmost sound is to blend deep atmospheric feelings and organic nature that combine into a dreamlike state of mind that come straight from the heart.  The intention is that whilst listening to the music the listener is transported to calmer places of beauty and of light and shade.

Inhmost 는 앰비언트와 다운템포의 장르적 범주에서 자유로운 표현을 지향하는 S.Huxtable 의 또 다른 이름이다. Inhmost 사운드의 목적은 깊은 대기적 감정들과 유기적 자연을 섞어내어 마음에서 우러나오는 꿈과도 같은 정신으로 결합하는 것이다. 
그 의도는 음악을 듣는동안 청자들이 아름다움, 그리고 빛과 어둠의 고요한 공간으로 이동하기를 위한 것이다.
