For our birthday episode, you can expect the techno fairies to visit ://about blank on February 11th. It will last 24 hours and be the opportunity to present the latest EP in our STAUB series. As usual it is a Various Artists released by Intergalactic Research Institute For Sound. These five tunes represent what you can hear at STAUB, music that ranges from leftfield to drum and bass, from ambient soundscapes to booming techno.

Once upon a time, a little girl felt something was missing in her life. She searched and looked everywhere in the world. As she longingly stared at the clear blue sky, she noticed puffy white trails behind airplanes. For days and nights she walked - sometimes ran - behind these sinister tracks made of vapor. Extraterrestrial entities seemed to blink in the darkest nights and approved of her mission. After a year she finally arrived at its source. When she asked around what it was, the answer was a word full of mysterious energy: STAUB.

Meet Chris Mitchell, a talented DJ and producer based in the United States. He is the brain behind Feral Colony, an uncompromising label featuring artists such as TLXCO, Sons of Traders, Chupacabras, Blackmoon77, and BenjiDF. Prior to this he co-founded Vanguard Sound and Anunnaki Cartel.

Chris has released his most recent music on a variety of labels including Squirrels on Film, Sons of Traders, Italo Moderni, Black Lodge, Soil, and his own imprint Feral Colony. Additionally, he holds a monthly residency with Mutant Radio, showcasing future releases and current favorites.

Leipzig label Lunatic Rec. delivers a diverse album by Electro veteran MANASYt.

On this record the artist shows his own dystopic view on the random game of life. Black or white? Women or men? Sexuality? IQ? State? Religion? Destiny or American Dream? The darkness of this record’s sound doesn’t really leave a choice to answer. Between fast edged drums and offkey harmonics you get thrown into the ups and downs of a likewise horrible as appealing fever dream in seven sequences. 

The vinyl comes in a handmade screen printed full cover, limited to 300 hand numbered copies. Download code included.

Bulgarian dark mastermind MANASYt（Petar Tassev) has been rocking his own brand of Nurolektro since 2003. He’s responsible for a vast array of menacing titles on labels such as Bunker, Touchin' Bass, Kommando 6, Musar and about 40 other labels worldwide. 
An artist that couldn’t care less about trends nor hypes, and whose main driving force is that authentic passion for the genre.
Some of his tunes resemble a future horror movie soundtrack, others a visit to a mental clinic but most sound like what exactly hostile aliens would listen to while attacking Earth.
Currently based in Xiamen, China.

Berlin based, but originally out of the Midwest (Cleveland and Nashville) Jaundice is a long time producer, DJ, and co-founder of the phenomenal Tram Planet Records. He has had a slew of releases on DKA, Sons of Traders, Atrophy Records and more, and has a monthly show on Mutant Radio. Tune in for this raw, experimental mix, traversing deep cut minimal synth and ebm, to high-octane acid, breaks, bit-crushed drum & bass, melancholic avant-garde and so much more.

Dj Tygre is a San Francisco dj with a passion for electro and taking listeners on aural journeys. He grew up in Philadelphia and began djing in 1994, spinning drum and bass. After a 23 year hiatus he is back in the groove creating mixes once again.
