The rising Spanish label Banshees Records summons the dark powers once again, this time to bring to life a six-headed beast devoted to bringing chaos and destruction to mankind and putting sinners out of their misery. Its master, Siarem, brought together his gloomiest and mistiest influences to create such an apocalyptic creature. 

Jokes aside, the EP title couldn’t be different: “Dystopia” is defined as “an imagined state or society in which there is great suffering or injustice, typically one that is totalitarian or post-apocalyptic”. Suitable, given its EBM-meets-Industrial-meets-Cold-Wave-meets-Electro-cataclysm atmosphere.

The track we were solicited to premiere is the only remix on board: Dark Vektor's take on “Deshumanized” offers a minimalistic interpretation based on the direct and punchy sonority of the good ol’ 90s Electro, turning his version the less darkness-infused of the release.

Atomic Alert returns with its fifth release, 'Algorithm Anxiety,' a powerful collaboration between label head Nite Fleit and French electro sensation Unklevon, set for release on 12th July. This EP features four tracks: two collaborative efforts between Nite Fleit and Unklevon, and two solo tracks by Unklevon, merging their distinct styles into a cohesive and dynamic experience.

Opening the EP, Unklevon’s solo contribution showcases his mastery of the electro-techno spectrum. "Biometrics Discover" delivers a dance-floor-friendly track with playful vocoder over a pulsating bassline.

The title track, "Algorithm Anxiety," blends moody tension with intense saturated synth work, creating an eerie atmosphere that encapsulates the anxieties of feeling like a machine.

"3am" continues with tough, driving electro, a perfect blend of both artists' styles.

Closing the EP, "Zona Oscura" is banging electro at its finest, emphasising Unklevon's ability to create powerful, dance floor-ready music.

After months of protracted legal battles with the estate of Frank Farian we’re proud to present our latest, and 5th release ‘Emotion Detector’ EP by Sean Kosa, out on July 7 2024.

Track 1 ‘Drive’ is a journey through synthesized highways surrounded by gleaming towers built of debt. Status transport projectiles speed by in both directions blinding us with LED headlights and flashing medallions signifying wealth. Fractures appear as they slam against eroding infrastructure.

Track 2 ‘Downforce’ loops forward and backward through decaying brutalist cities and tunnels during an endless acid rainstorm. Sub bass competes with jackhammers replacing old neighbourhoods with condominiums supplying an endless amount of coffee. Ring roads constructed miles above the sidewalk carry human capital and currency in and out of the mirrored glass marketplace.

EP is available digitally July 7, 2024
