Daniel Osthues, DJ & creator of Addicted-2-Bass discovered his passion for rough Detroit Techno/Electro at the age of 14.

The passion for new music while at the same time watching his favourite DJs spin records with incredible skill soon led to the goal to be in the same position one day.

Gaining the necessary skillset over the years, he soon found himself spinning at DJ contests and being invited to local Underground music stations as a guest DJ.

Drawing upon an expansive record collection, his sets nowadays span from classic early 90’s Cybotron informed Electro to some rare gems from the hard-hitting Berlin, Detroit & The Hague scene.

Born and raised in Tampa Florida and Now currently living in NY; Dj Science has been in love with electronic music/miami bass since the late 80s. After attendance of his first club and seeing the dj live and in the mix .... It was all over from that point . Dj Science started mixing records in the late 90s and after a few year hiatus is now back on the decks doing what he loves to do ; Mix,cut,sample,and scratch. Dj Science started his production venture around 2020 with the purchase of his first drum machine the roland tr8s. From that point on a new adventure in sound was born!! His love for the machines has continued to grow as well as his production skill in many different (wave) shapes and (wave) forms. XS, aka Jay Fatigate https://soundcloud.com/iamdjxs has been a staple in the Electronic Dance Music scene since 1987.  Starting off in New York with Freestyle, Miami Bass, House, Hip Hop, and RnB.  In 1991 he assisted a DJ in New York’s Palladium Night Club when he received his first techno record by artist L.A. Style, which wrote James Brown is Dead.  In 1992 he moved to Daytona Beach, FL where he entered the “Florida Rave Scene.” He began to DJ for the Mad House @ Zonkers.  As his talent spread on scene flyers and by word of mouth,  he began to spin and work many bookings in Orlando, Gainesville, Tampa, Tallahassee,  Miami, and Fort Lauderdale, at all major venues.  In 1997 he was signed to “Go Off Productions” and played for major promotional companies such as Culture Productions, and FSOB. He retired for 20 years to raise a family in South Florida. As the pandemic hit, he began to create again.  “I have Returned”  was his comeback compilation, streaming now on SoundCloud. Currently he’s been booked by promoters such as FSOB, Sunshine State of Bass, 808 Life, Frajile Recordings, Theoryon, Culture, and  more.  His unique style of mixing will send you on a journey that you will definitely want more of!

With this new EP long time Bass Agenda Recordings family member Lectromagnetique tries to figure out the Origin of some of these worlds through two audio signals, intercepted somewhere in a sound lab in Chornobyl.
