プロデューサー、DJ、ラジオホストなどフランスを拠点に多彩な活動を見せる
パリのアーティストMIDORI。
東京での活動をきっかけにIll Sugi、Bugseed など多数の日本人ビートメイカー
と深い交流を持つ。自身が主宰するレーベル《Menace》ではこれまでに
Jeremy Talon、Ill Sugi、Hugo LX などのリリースも手がけている。
パリと東京のビートメーカーを繋ぐリリースをレーベルとして手がけたり、
パリ、東京の両都市でイベントを主催するなど、多彩な動きを見せ、その手腕
は国内外のビートシーンからも評価されている。また毎週土曜日にはビート
フリークなら必聴とされるフランスのラジオ番組「Rinse Frane」ではラジオ
ホストを務め、ここでのプレイも注目を集めている。

今回リリースするアルバムは世界のビートメーカーをサポートするレーベル
《Cascade Records》と東京の《Jazzy Sport》の連名にてリリースされる。
アーティストMIDORI 自身を幅広い層に知ってもらうための楽曲集であり、
全ての友達、アーティスト、《Menace》 と自分をサポートしてくれている
人々への感謝の気持ちを曲にして表現した。MIDORIが得意とする、情景が
浮かぶ柔らかなトラックをメインに収録した本作は、サンプリングのみならず
生演奏も取り入れ、サウンドに厚みと奥行きを持たせている。
《OILWORKS Recordings》からのアルバムリリースでも知られるAru-2 との
共作曲や、今回日本盤のみに収録されているIll Sugi とJeremy Talon による
Remix を収録している。
