This track is compsed solely from sounds I recorded at the Scrot Centrallen scrap yard in Uppsla Sweden. It was available on my Scrap Bodies CD release and it and versions of it have been used at many live scrap yard and performance events.

At The Scroot

Bjornola Lind and myself recorded some of the sounds of the High Coast bridge at Harnosand in northern Sweden. I then used the sounds of the bridge to write this piece back at my London studio. Used in performance and at Bjornola's exhibition of photographs of the bridge.

This album is by The Inner Ear and was recorded in 'The Tank' an enormous old Steel Oil tank with a 24second reverb located in north Sweden.

The Tank is really a vast musical instrument that one plays from the inside. 

We immersed ourselves in the Tank for 5days improvising - the intention being to wander the space between ritual, meditation and ambient musics.

This album is formed of extracts taken from the 5 days of improvisations

I spent 15 days in the snowdonia national park staying at the lovely artist retreat Stiwdio Maelor, 

I spent my time working with the 5 elements (There are 5 elements in the Chinese system) and writing these 5 pieces of sound. 

Some of the source sound was recorded in Snowdonia and some resulted from a recording collaboration with sound healer Carolina Baranski in London earlier in 2015.

The methodology of working with the elements came from a QiGong perspective

The chain saw men arrived along the train line next to to my local park in Streatham south London - loads of them !! where will the goldfinches, longtailed tits and local bats go now ? this big embankment was one of the last habitats in the area - clear cut now :-(
