Growing up and being raised in the church, Lee always knew he wanted to be involved in music but never thought he was good enough. “I always thought…‘I’m no where near as talented as the rest of my family when it comes to music”. Nevertheless, he continued to sing and rap in church and at home but never gave it his all until taking a bold step to move to Texas. 
It was there where he met John Murray, who was a producer, musician, vocalist and, most of all, a true worshipper. John Murray saw more in Lee than what he saw in himself and offered him an opportunity to be a part of a project he was currently working on. Without hesitation, Lee accepted the opportunity and landed a spot as a featured artist on John Murray’s album called, “Majesty” in 2014. 
Lee realized from that experience that this is what he was born to do. Lee began to get closer to Christ, studying and praying more, asking God what message he wanted him to share to the world and how he wanted to use him. 
Then after the sudden passing away of his father due to complications from pneumonia and being unable to bounce back into his daily routine; Lee remembered what his father always told him. “Whatever you’re dealing with, deal with it in Christ and you’ll always win”. That mindset fueled Lee to get back into his music and share his testimony with the world in the hopes that it would bless others. “I put my blood, sweat, and tears into this album and my goal is for the listeners to feel exactly what I felt when I recorded it”.

After years of being told by others that he had a gift, Lee realized from that experience that that this was what he was born to do. While in the process of working on his album, he received news that his father was in the ICU and it wasn’t looking good. 

While flying back and forth to Philadelphia over that month, praying for the best, Lee received the worst. Lee had lost his father at the age of 52 suddenly, due to complications precipitated by pneumonia. “That was the worst feeling I ever felt in my life and wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy”. 

Unable to bounce back into his daily routine, Lee remembered what his father always told him, ‘Whatever you’re dealing with, deal with it with Christ and you’ll always win’. That mindset fueled Lee to get back into his music and share his testimony with the world in the hopes that it would bless others. “I literally put my blood, sweat, and tears into this album and my goal is for the listeners to feel exactly what I felt when I recorded it”.
