We're vibin' into 2025 with our next release and are very happy to present you the first EP from BassBoutique!

BassBoutique is a collaboration between two old hand music producers who share their love for thriving basses and beats. Crafting hi-class sounds for an uplifting dubstep style 
with an experimental punk attitude.

On the BUTIK EP them showcase three tunes representing BassBoutiques verstatile production style. Kickin' off with the pumping ''Bassarask'' which comes with an boombap Hip Hop vibe and wild scratches by Dopestyles. Float into the wobble basslines on the dubby ''Subtesk'' and loose yourself in the bouncy meloskanks. Ending the EP with ''Valskø'', a tune that takes you on a mind trip with playful chops and stacks of field recordings.

Get into the sound of BassBoutique and their creative approach on contemporary soundsystem music and be sure that there will be some more bass treasures comin' from these two guys later this year.

In 1978 Bernard Fevre decided to pretty much invent cosmic disco. The former library music producer had turned his hand to deliciously dark disco a few years before, but it was underground smash 'H-Friend' that really made him a force to be reckoned with on dancefloors the globe round. Well, apart from the fact that that record was, at the time, incredibly obscure. He then went from relative obscurity to total disappearance. 

In 2004 Rephlex reissued the Disco Club EP and a star was reborn. This time around, Alter K have decided to get a tonne of great acts to give Fevre a going over for a series of EPs. 

Today we're bringing you an exclusive listen to the "dance" EP featuring remixes from Africaine 808, Turzi, DJ Tide, and the legendary Andrew Weatherall.

A live, 92-minute improvised session by Laraaji based on his 1984, Vision Songs material. Until now only fragments of Vision Songs have been released, tracks such as “All Of A Sudden” found their way into the New Age / Ambient music scene. Owing to it’s unique sound, it became an underground hit and there’s more where it came from. This crossover of New Age and Gospel Soul, led by Laraaji’s vocals – channelling meditations of new thought - is distinctive in his discography. Here, you'll find a recording capturing the spirit of a particular moment in time: of Laraaji playing Vision Songs to an intimate audience 32 years after it was first recorded in his Manhattan bedroom.

Edition of 300, includes a risograph inlay with lyrics and a photographic insert card.
