In Hour 2 we have a double-header of a mix starting with special guest Matt Berry, well known for his appearances in The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh and more recently Toast of London. He's also a musician in his own right with several albums under his belt, the latest being 'Music For Insomniacs'  where he channels the synthesised soundscapes of Vangelis and Mike Oldfield. There's no track list as he's currently recording the next series of Toast but he plugs into musicals like Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds and Jesus Christ Superstar, soundtrack work by John Carpenter & Alan Howarth and pop from Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan and Kate Bush.
Following in his wake is DJ Food with the first installment of a new mix series called Magpie Music which focuses on distorted drums, fuzz bass and the more psychedelic side of his current tastes. Expect music from The Soundcarriers, Pond, tUnE-yArDs and the Osmonds plus unreleased gems from Mophono and The Group Modular.
