Incidental Music: "79,000,000 Lives Lost"

In 2012, writers and podcasters Tim Barnes and Simon Berry had a podcast called "Mentor!", which featured listeners' emails requesting amusing help and advice.

In episode 7, one listener requested a chart-topping song idea that she could recreate for teh monies. Tim and Simon put out an acapella of spoof lyrics they had come up with, and then invited listeners to put music to the recording.

After manually quantizing and time-stretching every syllable, and applying pitch correction to warp Simon's choruses into my tune, I produced this belter.

The piece got played at the start of episode 8 of "Mentor!". This is my proudest work to date thanks to the positive feedback ("best of the bunch", "sterling effort") and promotion on broadcast media. Cheers fellas! :)

Tim and Simon: "T-Bar & Fizzy Drizzle - In da Club"

Picture the scene. A family film. Alfie the Dog and his owner are on holiday in France. Alfie loses his owner, misses him greatly and longs to be back with him. After a few hours of searching, Alfie sees someone down the street resembling his owner. Feeling that it is him, he starts running excitedly down the street causing all sorts of comical chaos along the way (the sound effects of which were added in the composition stage by request)! But when he gets to the man, he realises that he is not his owner, and cue the sadness and disappointment.

Lee Meredith is a music producer and composer based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK.

This page is an online showreel of Lee's abilities to help him build a reputation while he prepares to go professional with a future recording studio. These pieces may be actual client commissions or his own works to demonstrate his comfortable approach to a wide variety of musical styles.

So far, Lee has produced many sub-genres of rock, metal, hip-hop, EDM, pop, and incidental music*. As well as producing for clients, Lee also looks forward to selling rights to sync-music and hip-hop instrumentals in the future.

Lee is qualified in Music Theory at Grade 4 and also in Music Technology. He is also rhythm guitarist for the doom-metal band Severed Heaven, and is currently recording and mixing their upcoming EP.
