All of us here at ADID have been super excited about this release for months. Not only does it contain the gorgeous original mix from Maher Daniel and John Charnis that has been melting ladies hearts all summer long but we also have quite a superb remix. Luca Bachetti's Endless label is one of our favorites here and it was only a matter of time until we knew we were going to (gently) prize something special from his musical soul. His remix has caused a little bit of a stir. We've been bombarded on a daily basis with requests for it. Well, for all you bombarders, it's finally here. Initially we only sent it out to a tiny handful of friends and family. Dixon and Ame both played it in Panorama bar on the same night, and it's been a staple track in Lee Burridge's sets all summer. It never sounded better than at Burning Man festival this year and those lucky enough to have been there will attest to the mystical journey it weaved as it meandered out of the Robot Heart bus's perfect sound system and across the playa. One of it's most memorable moments, so far, for sure. Now it's time for you to create your own magic with it. The hardest decision you'll have to make is deciding which mix to play. Glimpse released his ‘True South’ EP via Aus Music last year and now we premiere the b-side from his latest offering on Will Saul's label called 'L.E.D'. The track opens with the word 'heavy' being repeated over and over before a hefty bassline and thunderous kick drum come piling in. Check it.

Hamburg/Berlin based Soukie & Windish released one of their first 12-inches on 200 Records – the EP “Elsewhere” (200 005 – March 2010). They have released a lot of records afterwards and shaped their unique style. Now they are back on 200 Records with two superb tracks.

Duster has the classical Soukie & Windish groove with a great atmosphere and cool vocals. Flott is a perfect summer groover with a fresh sound and a great bassline.

Chilean born and Berlin based Dinky has forged a solid and illustrious career over the past decade. ‘Casa’ announces her new album set for release on Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels this Autumn, with remixes from Axel Boman and Satori.

A trained classical guitarist, singer and keyboard player that has held a DJ residency at Berlin’s infamous Panorama Bar since 2004, Dinky’s sixth album, also titled ‘Casa’ will be the first since the birth of her two children. “Casa is an acid vocal love song. It translates as house in spanish, not because it’s a house album but because it was recorded in my house in Berlin whilst I was pregnant with my second son. I had to stay home (mainly in bed) for months due to a medical risk. Those where very scary times for me and my family as we were told we could lose him. It was a such difficult journey but I decided not to get down, but to channel my energy into writing music.’

Dinky’s delicate vocal on ‘Casa’ is both uptempo and spacious, with infusions of acid, leftfield and electronica in its veins. Axel Boman delivers a stunning, emotive and epic nine and a half minute dub version, overlaid with spoken word samples referring to lost experiences. The Swedish born producer is much-lauded for his releases on DJ Koze’s Pampa, Permanent Vacation and his own imprint, Studio Barnhus, formed with Kornel Kovacs and Petter of Border Community. While the hedonistic take from Satori takes ‘Casa’ up beyond the horizon. A future Crosstown Rebels artist, Satori has released on 8Bit, Under Your Skin and Bla Bla records.

“For me it’s a very honest project and Damian loved it so I was more than happy to work with him again,’ Dinky enthuses on the long friendship that they have shared. ‘After taking a few years of intense touring, I felt ready to tour again and release my sixth album. Many of the songs were written for my sons, my husband, motherhood, love and also things that were happening in the world at the time.”

‘Casa’ sees a return to form for Dinky and a welcome return to the Crosstown imprint, after previously releasing a single and a mix album for the pioneering label.
