After debuting for the first time at this year’s We Are FSTVL, producers/DJs MK & Lee Foss and singer/songwriter Anabel Englund have announced their first official release together as Pleasure State. Coming out on Jamie Jones’ and Lee Foss’ label Hot Creations, the group announce the highly anticipated release of 'Ghost In The System’ on December 1st.

Pleasure State is a project driven by the group’s unusual implosive chemistry along with a vision to create melodic and impassioned house music. Their style is dark and sensual with haunting vocals, pulsing beats and uncensored subject matters. Successful in their own right, MK, Lee and Anabel bring a wealth of talent, experience and creativity to this new and exciting group and Pleasure State acts as a natural extension of who they are as individuals.

After Lee Foss met the intriguing Californian talent Anabel Englund, he brought her into his existing collaboration with house heavyweight MK, literally igniting sparks between the group, whose union was formalised with the stand-out track 'Electricity' for Hot Creations.  Pleasure State have carved out the time all over the world to get together and create, and they have now delivered this exceptional EP.

The evocative ‘Ghost In The System’ is inhabited by a sinister presence created by Anabel’s chilling vocal which is accompanied by a bouncing bass and distorted rap and the result in a full on haunting of an atmospheric dance track. The EP features the politically charged and hip-hop influenced dance record ’Subject Matter’ and a 12 minute remix of ‘Electricity’ from Detroit techno legend and Grammy award winner, Carl Craig.

After a stellar debut performance at this year’s Coachella festival and two years since their chart-climbing ‘Benediction’ release, Hot Natured unleash new material for Emerald City with the anthemic ‘Off World Lover’ remixed by Will Clarke.

‘Off World Lover’ rides the path between discerning house anthem and enduring pop classic beautifully, the subtleties of Ali Love’s vocals masterfully executed amidst Hot Natured’s trademark futuristic analogue sounds. The labour and evolution of the band is evident in its simplicity and matured approach, and the result an instant classic.

Rising Bristolian producer Will Clarke strips back ‘Off World Lover’ and shapes it for the club circuit through buoyant beats and voluptuous breakdowns, both set for release on Emerald City, the newest label venture from Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, on 18th September.

Arguably the biggest dance music act to break out of the underground circuit, with three well-acclaimed singles under their belt, ‘Reverse Skydiving’, ‘Forward Motion’ and ‘Benediction’, Hot Natured are a four-piece consisting of previously established and accomplished music producers Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Ali Love and Luca Cazal. Since their debut album smashed the charts at the end of 2013 they have taken an eighteen month hiatus from releasing, burying themselves deep in the studio working on their follow up, set for release in 2016.

The roots of Will Clarke’s sound stem from both his home town of Bristol, and his seasonal home in Ibiza, which have forged a style that fuses the best of Bristol’s bass elements with the upfront house music sensibilities of the white isle. His productions have appeared on labels such as Defected, Dirtybird, Southern Fried and he recently launched his own label, Cut A Rug.

3 years ago Patrick & Frederic started their marvelous career as Kaiserdisco and made it to one of the most interesting acts in the global underground scene. They are not only a techno or minimal act, Kaiserdisco is fascinating people all over the world cause they are producing music from lazy deep house to groovy techno, always with the right sense for the dancefloor.  In the last years they remixed artists like Booka Shade, Kosheen, Extrawelt, Sebastien Légér, 2000 & One...., and had releases on legendary labels like Drumcode, 100% Pure, Strictly Rhythm, My Best Friend, Global Underground etc.. 
And now it is time to start their own imprint.
 
The first KD Music release “La Famillia EP” comes from Kaiserdisco  themselves. The A-side “La Benjamina” is a typical Kaiserdisco anthem. Strong beats, groovy bass and a hypnotizing melody.  You can feel it in every second of this track how much fun it was to produce this piece of music. Especially the big break will make you go mad!!

“Hija Major” on the B-side is a heavyweight techno layout. A massive rolling bassline catches you from the first second! The hole track reminds you of a fast rolling train packed full of wood. It rattles from first to last and when it falls into the breaks you can imagine it pushes the train even more and more and more.....

The high voltage ‘Electricity’ kicks things off with the sensational voice of Anabel Englund leading the way. The deep, slow grooves ride effortlessly through the track with a breath-taking break down filled with electric bolts and melodic synth keys.

‘Goodnight Moon’ is the second on offer from Lee and Marc and boasts a heavy bass, beautiful synths patterns and infectious groove. The atmosphere in the track is filled with layers of intricate percussions and luscious melodies, while the interesting vocals make this really stand out from the rest.

Over on the B-side Lee takes the reins with ‘Could Be’, effortlessly swarming the mind with soaring synths, soft R n’B style vocals and lo-slung driving bass lines, while the trippy keys are destined to hypnotize you on the dancefloor.

Rounding off ‘B5 the Dinks’ is aimed straight at the dancefloor. Packed full of groove with an intoxicating bassline, the high-pitched warbling keys, vocals and crowd noises add a new dimension and make this a real party track. (Maouris)
