Ancient Star (Extended)

I wrote this tune with the allegory in mind. The key to this story from Plato is the fundamental source of light. 
I set out to travel through the tunnel but now ended up in space. In the lyrics, the driving at light speed sets out towards the sunlight. Like the allegory of the cave, our senses conflicts with real knowledge, best to go back to the sun, the source of light. 🌌

"Todo pasa y todo queda"
Everything goes and everything stays. 
"Camino" means road, I am on my path. "Nunca perseguí la gloria" I don't want to pursue to glory, I just want to follow el camino de la luz (the path of light). These lines echo my thoughts.

I was introduced to this song during a jam session.
For every line, I spent 40-60 minutes perfecting the phrasing and pronunciation. I would like to say, I tried. Not my first time singing in Spanish but first time doing it solo.

"Black coffee, no sugar please". I must confess, the 7-11 $1.50 is my goto. Fika is a culture, it implies 'to have coffee' in Swedish. It's an action and a reaction. I wrote this song to be the first to roast about my coffee habit.

Alanis got played a lot when I first came to Australia. I remember Mr. Brighton, my I.T. teacher used to say (in 2002 with Napster, Kazaa, Winmx and all) that she was the first recording artist to release her upcoming album on the net (and not via the conventional way) because she saw the trend. 
Well, she's still very well alive on my playlist.
