Roy Williams, known by his stage name KO-P, is a 21 year old Bronx native. Following in his uncle's footsteps, whom he idolized, KO-P began persuing his dreams of becoming a rapper at the early age of 7. For the four years that followed, KO-P engaged in several freestyles with his close relatives in order to prepare for the day that he would feel good enough to perform in front of his greatest inspirer; his uncle. That day never came. At the age of 11, KO-P's uncle was murdered, and wasn't given the chance to see his nephew perform. To this day, KO-P's uncle remains his greatest influence. Taking the tragedy and unfulfilled promises surrounding his uncle's death, KO-P has decided to never again hide his talents—striving towards the goal of letting the world see what he is made of. 

     Since then, he has spent his life working on and releasing multiple freestyles and two mixtapes. While attending The High School of Art & Design, KO-P worked silently on his first mixtape, "The Lost Planet," which he dropped proceeding his graduation in Fall 2010. Overwhelmed by the pressures of society and his family to seek a higher education, KO-P enrolled in BMCC, where he continued to focus on his music, and released his second mixtape "Facing Reality" in 2012. After an unsuccessful two years at BMCC, KO-P has decided to take some time off of school in order to continue following his passion of creating music. His new self titled EP "R.O.Y." (Rule Over You) with the lead singles "Rappers Only feat Fake TNGR$", and "East Coastin'" is now downloadable for free.
