Of course, I'm always happy when I get to start a new podcast series. This mix falls in a time in which Covid conditionally here again many things become possible. Live music may be played again. That's why I gave this mix the working title back together again. At the same time the name of the last song. A homage to my loyal followers who are now allowed to be reunited with me at the places where I play live. How nice.

About the Mix:

This mix is often using two tracks in parallel (sometimes more, sometimes less) - as we are unique, it invites you to listen carefully into the frequencies from where healing can be received.

There is no real darkness within us but sometimes the light doesn't shine bright enough. Time to remind ourselves about the truth behind darkness. It's love as there is only love everywhere - we are love. Self love and awareness is our only weapon to look behind the scene and see, all there is, is pure love. Don't judge others because of their behaviour - it's mostly mirroring something inside us.

About Alfredo: 

He started doing music back in 1986 using his so loved Commodore 64, later using his Commodore Amiga. Today, he's producing various kinds of music, from Spiritual to Downtempo over to Techno. Alfredo is using lots of organic natural sounds and instruments (Native Flute, Didgeridoo, Jaw Harp, Kalimba, Rattles, etc...) for his tracks. He likes to experiment with music as this gives Alfredo inspiration to be creative. Since 2020 he started DJing and mixing as well as this helps to spread the beauty of the spirit of music.

Last year Alfredo created his own little record label called  FruityAlfred, which is also one of his artist names, historicly given due to he worked with Fruity Loops, starting with V1.4.2 in 1999. Today Alfredo is using Ableton and Native Instruments. 

Music is a hobby to him which allows Alfredo a lot of freedom without being under pressure.

ẓıȷŋ originates from the Dutch word 'zijn' which is 'to be' and that's music for us as healing in the Now. But how long is Now? ∞ In ẓıȷŋ's family of origin, music has been heard since prehistoric times as the essential art of all the arts, which were omnipresent from an early age. He was literally born with the talent of the sound artist. Some instruments shaped the career and the basic emotional feeling. When he was growing up, the first attempts came with old, cheap CD-Players to mix Goa and Downtempo.

Time passed and the priorities shifted to visual arts such as painting and studying media design. But then at some point „Techno" discovered ẓıȷŋ’s constant 'permacreative' urge to create and so began a timeless journey through electronic worlds of sound, sometimes melodious, sometimes deep, sometimes hypnotic, sometimes colorfully mixed and then again simply and with shamanic influences. Since then, ẓıȷŋ is constantly diggin’ new sound and combines different and sometimes odd styles together, just like an Alchemist would do so.

Being able to give feelings and mood is still a privilege and something very special for me.
The best reward and at the same time my motivation are the wonderful reactions of the listeners.
Plus, it always feels incredibly great to get people to dance.
I started mixing music around 2004 and took whatever was there, hard acid, house, progressive, generally Tekkno, so to speak.
I played Goa and organized parties for a very long time.
I also played ambient, drum n bass, lounge and electronic world as I worked at Sony Music.
This was soon followed by big beats, trip hop, jazz, no jazz, funk, with which I played at festivals in Switzerland such as Bluebals, Jazz Festival Montreux, Greenfield.
My interests became even more diverse over time. I also really enjoyed Irish folk, medieval music, Balkan style and electro swing.
In addition to these, I played tech house and minimal for a while.
Last but not least, and for several years now, my heart has been beating at around 80 to 110 bpm to ethno, downtempo, deep house, world music, melodic house, oriental, organic and I love soulful, warm, invigorating, sunny tracks that tell stories. .

I recorded this live set during the night between June 28th and 29th at the Sanctuary in Milan.
Unlike last year’s live set, this time I chose to build it with plenty of space for change and improvisation, so it could adapt to each context and stay flexible in structure.
Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit constrained by sticking to a single genre and fixed BPMs, so I wanted to give myself the freedom to explore different directions and follow more spontaneous impulses.
All the tracks were composed specifically for live set. I’ve also included two pieces from the set I created with Laaar (which we performed for the first time this June at La Nature Festival in Belgium).

This was definitely one of my favorite gigs this year, played on the strawberry floor at monkey business II.🍓🍓

The dome, warmly lit in shades of red, cradled barefoot dancers tuning into the frequencies of music. the bass reverberating the space outside, as people gathered together and flow artists weaved their magic.🍓🍓

it is these intimate settings that truly touch my heart & weaving this set in the moment touched a vulnerable space within, bringing a sense of inner peace, flow and freedom. '🍓🍓

Mo is a DJ from Leipzig who loves getting lost in emotive, deep downtempo sounds. He shares this passion through podcasts and live sets at events hosted by his own Philia collective, at festivals like Fusion, or during club gigs in Berlin.
He also shapes the scene through his work as a stage builder at numerous festivals. This craft is taking him all the way to South Africa at the end of January 2026, where he’ll be involved in building festival stages — and he’s open for further bookings while he’s there.
