thoughts :
in the verses of back door, i added in a lead which i didn’t realise i had taken inspiration from something that already existed. subconsciously i had created something that reflected the 3 synth notes that play after burr recites “there are ten things you need to know” in the ‘the world was wide enough’ from hamilton. someone special introduced this to me when it aired on disney+ and being a bit of a musical nerd i fell in love with it and even took inspiration from the motifs that are used in the show. that’s the main thing i notice whenever i listen back to this cover. also how cool are the harmonies in the second pre-chorus alongside seungmin ehe
