Here you have my contribution to the legendary BBC Radio1 Essential Mix, aired on 7th of June 2014! I'm truly thankful and honored to be a part of this series - thank you, Pete Tong!

It's one week away until one of Black Butter Records' most successful protégé’s, Kidnap Kid, links up with UKG demigod, DJ EZ in Room One alongside Friend Within and more. Whilst it wasn't actually that long ago that Kidnap Kid delivered his last promo mix to our doors, if you look at how he has progressed over the past few months then you can kind of understand why we think it's necessary to present the burgeoning artist once more. Opting for a more vocal-laced blend on the last podcast this drop definitely reflects how the producer has grown, delivering a slightly more tripped out and club cut flex this time around...

Leftfield have been at the cutting edge of dance music since the 1990s, releasing albums that have become some of the most influential electronic records of all time around the world with their debut LP Leftism being widely regarded as one of the most boundary-pushing electronic LPs ever released.
