‘Orange Slices’ coming from Everett marks the northern artist’s first-ever solo release linking up with Manchester-based label and party series Left, Right & Centre for the second time.

The five-track presentation of sound sees four original cuts sit aside a heavyweight remix from Bristol’s Bruce, for a late summer/early autumn smash hit release, leaning towards a wonky techno sound, purpose-built for peak time club night ferocity.

Everett has made his name slowly but surely as a cornerstone for quality in Manchester’s electronic underbelly, whether that be through his meticulous DJ sets, his radio presence throughout the years or his association with the inimitable The White Hotel.

Now permitted to spread his wings across the five-tracker, Everett’s time spent between the quiet recesses of Mancunian dances and honing his sound with deadly precision pays dividends. His attention to detail and ear for quality shines through on ‘Orange Slices’. Touching across the producer’s broad and deft tastes, the productions are a celebration of Everett’s infatuation with half-time DnB, slow-burning Techno and the newfangled styles of Ploy et al. Glitchy drums and unpredictably poised percussion cement Everett as one of Manchester’s most deadly and disruptive music makers you’ve never heard of.

Manchester's greatest export Left, Right & Centre present a sprawling dancefloor exploration from Ghoulish featuring a potent club flip from label head Korzi.

Manchester-based DJ and producer Ghoulish makes a bold statement with his latest single, "Arc Flash." This release marks a departure from his previous work, delving into deeper, darker territories with a percussion-focused approach and tension-building tactics that keep listeners on the edge of their seats. The single is a follow-up to his collaboration with Skream on ‘IFEEL’. This most recent release showcases his ability to reach for a varying degree of sounds presented in different styles and for different settings.

Driven by chopped vocals and snappy snare hits, the track is reminiscent of inspiring artists such as Ploy and Pearson Sound, culminating in spiralling sonics that build and manifest in moments of electrifying rising and falling throughout.

Featuring a standout reflip from label head Korzi, which takes the release in a more abrasive route, layering the original elements with his signature glitchy, punchy manner. "Arc Flash" is a testament to Ghoulish's evolution as an artist, showcasing his versatility and innovation this time staying true to the Left, Right & Centre ethos - a link-up between a Manchester artist at the top of his game and a label pushing forward-thinking sounds truly making sense on this occasion.

A fresh release out of Manchester this summer sees two of the city's mainstays, Obeka and Left, Right & Centre, team up for the first time ever to pack a fiery punch with a ferocious 6-track EP. Featuring a guest appearance from Bryte as well as a spicy remix from Bitter Babe for good measure, the release is a real statement of intent from the label and producer alike.

Hailing from Bermuda, Obeka makes up one-third of the Me Gusta Collective, an event series championing global sounds in Manchester, bringing world-renowned DJs, producers, and musicians to the UK for truly unique showcases. Obeka draws direct influence from Bermuda with this release, channeling the island's energy and influence into his production, particularly through the use of percussion and rhythmic qualities that really shine throughout. Contrasting this with the makeup of the city he now resides in, the "Commence" EP uses the disparity between these two environments, alongside his personal connection to both, as the backbone of the music within it.

“Badman Silo” introduces the release with a tension-building, club-ready hit that infuses pitched-up electronic influences with organic percussion sounds and chopped vocals to really set the tone. “Ya Betta” is, however, the highlight, featuring the unmistakable sounds of Bryte, whose call-and-response-type vocals create an invitation for true dance expressionism. The final track features Bitter Babe on the remix of the same track, an artist whose Colombian flair combined with contemporary club styles has put her on the map in recent years. Her contribution here uses that Latin influence alongside Obeka’s Bermudan style for a drum-laden hit ready to destroy dancefloors everywhere.

In each room there was a different scenario within which to engage – some were full of dancers, some were full of thinkers and some were full of dreamers.

Marking a triumphant return to Left, Right & Centre after a four-year hiatus, Korzi unveils his latest EP, Cracked Plates. The Manchester-based producer, who co-founded the label and party series back in 2018, delivers a bold and boundary-pushing release just as the collective celebrates its seventh anniversary this spring.

Off The Hook leads listeners into darker, more mysterious territory. With echoing claps and a tension-building framework that has become Korzi’s signature, the track feels like an eerie descent into the unknown. Wobbly basslines and light overtones provide a flicker of optimism amid the track’s shadowy undercurrents.
