The epic encounter between Blackstar Sound & Rebel-I has arrived to Culture Dub Records with a crucial collaboration: "Who We Are" 

Produced and mixed by Chile's blackstar Sound and masterfully mastered in the United Kingdom by the legendary Jimmie "Dub" Troubles, "Who We Are" is a riddim stepper that merges Andean influences to create a powerful and contemporary sound, carrying a message of self-recognition and the vindication of our American roots. This single also includes an additional version: "Dub de las raíces." This heavyweight dub version has been infused with the magical quenas of Nico Michel, transporting us directly to the majestic South American Andes, immersing ourselves in the power and wisdom bestowed by the Apus (mountains).

La version chantée est suivie d'une version Dub profonde et méditative, 'Dub de las raíces', sur laquelle les flûtes en bambou (quenas) de Nico Michel vous transporteront directement dans les majestueuses Andes sud-américaines, nous immergeant dans la puissance et la sagesse conférées par les Apus (montagnes)... Passionné est le terme qui définit le mieux Legal Shot. Après un voyage au Carnaval de Notting Hill à la fin des années 90 ils subissent un choc face aux murs d’enceintes des sounds surpuissants.

Ils décident alors de se doter de leur propre outil, dans la tradition authentique des sound systems jamaïcains et construisent avec acharnement un système de sonorisation de plus de 20KW, avec 12 scoops. Dans le même temps ils organisent de nombreux événements en France et à l'étranger.

Au gré de leurs voyages en Jamaïque et à New York ils ont rempli leur box de vinyles rares et de Dubplates originaux, se spécialisant au fil du temps dans le Rub A Dub et le Digital. Ils agrémentent leurs sets de productions sorties du Legal Shot  Record Studio.

Aujourd’hui ils partagent avec un public de plus en plus nombreux leur amour pour cette musique. A chacune de leurs apparitions ils communiquent leur passion du sound system et font vibrer les massives !

Passionate is the term that best defines Legal Shot. Feeling the shock waves of the speakers bouncing off the walls at the Notting Hill Carnival in the late 90's, they were hooked.

They decided to build their own system in the tradition of authentic Jamaican sound and built an over 20KW sound system. In the meantime they've organised events in france and in Europe.

In their travels to Jamaica and New York they have filled up their boxes with rare vinyl and original Dub plates. They're playing Roots & Culture and specialized themselves over the years in Rub A Dub and Digital. They live up their sets of productions straight out of the Legal Shot Record Studio.

For over ten years, with true drive and hard work, Legal Shot Sound System has shared with a growing audience their love for this music. And at each of their gigs they spread their passion for the sound system with the massive!
