I was gonna name this song Kill My[self] because the song is about how sometimes you kill your [self] aka your person or the person you were or knew yourself to be for someone else. And that’s not a bad thing sometimes by the way, even if you “lose” yourself, [suffer a death - mourn a loss of a version of your [self], the good news is you can always reinvent yourself. You can be whoever you want. After all I named it Wake up Dying because, do you ever just wake up and feel how you felt yesterday, or wake up with the same weight you had yesterday, regardless of how much you try to get rid of it. Well sometimes you just gotta wake up and sit with that shit. But sometimes I also think, OH MY GOD, oh my FUCKING GOD, I just want to feel BETTER ALREADY!!!!! I want to forget about it!!!! That’s how I felt when I made this song. Shoutout Nic for the mix and Antisxcial for the beat. 🤍 🧛🏻‍♀️
