We're back with another episode of ritual practices this time featuring @be-obscene co-founder and resident @JJVVNN from Kassel. Establishing contemporary techno sound with numerous events in and around Kassel since 2014 he and some friends founded 'obscene', a forward-thinking techno event and podcast series back in 2019 curated with a clear vision of sound, design, and aesthetics. As part of a new generation of local techno artists representing the idea of modern, contemporary techno he's heavily inspired by the likes of Oscar Mulero, Exium, Etapp Kyle, Efdemin, Edit Select & Donato Dozzy. Striving for variability, JVN finds his taste in a broad spectrum of techno ranging from minimalistic groove driven material to a more hypnotizing approach as well as raw and pounding tool-ish techno.
His favorite slot is the opening, which is also the most important in his eyes because it offers the possibility to guide the audience from the beginning to the peak of the evening setting their minds for everything following. Convince yourselves and turn your speakers all the way up for JVN's banging trip into the night.

Born and raised in Kassel he already ran several successful event series. His latest outcome is a series called obscene, which features advanced techno with a clear vision of sound and design. 
His track selection ranges from minimal loopy techno to hypnotic and driving as well as raw pounding techno.

Back with a proper live recording from the infamous E-Werk Party back on the 25/26th of March 2022.
We probably had the best vibe of the whole party up on the rooftop with the rising sun as i was playing from 7- to almost 11h in the morning.
What a ride - 3Decks/2Digis - All Vinyl except - 6 tracks - unreleased by friends - not on wax - not in my collection yet - 
Turned out crunchy again because of the levels... but hey this is what we like huh:D

This one is as real as they get. Few can carry the name of disc jockey with such pride and confidence as Slin, who lives and breathes vinyl culture. If this talented 22-year old Berlin based DJ isn’t on the road playing gigs, he spends his time sifting through record shops, old dj collections or the internet in order to uncover lost gems or forgotten classics. Besides growing his already impressive record collection, Slin sports three deck vinyl mixes that continue to impress in terms of technicality and musicality.

His attitude towards DJing in general is sportive and ambitious; the intense preparation that goes into every one of his sets translates into an infectious performance in the booth, always in the mix working the wax. His sets rely on a raw, rough and honest groove as well as nonlinear storytelling and are always a pleasure to dance to. His love for both old and new records allows him to demonstrate the breadth of his musical knowledge, engaging also the more experienced listeners.
