This whole mix is love for Ambient Synthesizer soundscapes. You can definitely listen to the unique hardware arrangement. The Artist knows his equipment and what to do with it to get every emotion to work. This is the difference between plugins DAW and Hardware. I enjoy every Ambient work from Legowelt for certain reasons. If you look for something different in music. If it means serious music, you won’t find it anywhere but here. Legowelt knows the white lines between the notes are more important then the notes itself. You can hear his universe in his music and art of drawing pictures. The Renegade of a New Age. Segment 40 of the series hails from the Czech meadows and groves. This beautiful mix from our friend and London-based Czech artist Avsluta glows from within, evoking the light, colour, and warmth that’s become a trademark of her sound. Her musical output is shaped by an Eastern philosophy, taking her listeners on a meditative, atmospheric, and deeply reflective journey. In her collaborative audiovisual work, Avsluta blends vivid field recordings with colourful video collages, immersing the viewer in expansive melodies and landscapes reminiscent of the natural world. Her passion for ambient-tinted music is visible in her show Introspective Electronics on Netil radio, as well as her recent release on the well-established Dutch label Knekelhuis. Jonáš Verespěj had a discussion with her about making music for architecture, her instruments of choice, and her favourite new releases.

We are delighted to share with you a fresh episode of our mix series, this time with Alicia Carrera. 

Originally from Galicia based in Barcelona and with a long stint in Berlin behind her, Alicia Carrera is a woman of multiple talents: graphic designer, a photographer and, of course, a DJ of some reputation, thanks to her comprehensive knowledge of dance music and unique taste when mixing and recording sessions. Her musical obsessions run to genres such as new wave, psychedelia, experimental electronics, and darkwave; sonic passions that led her to find the fanzine Zauberstab, dedicated to making unusual and hidden music known.

In this episode, you can enjoy Alicia's always present signature in the selection of slow melodies, cosmic sounds, percussive rhythms and house, trance and new beat influences, always with the ambitious and praiseworthy objective of taking the audience to a new and unknown place.

Our next mix is made by Moopie. For those who don’t know, he’s running the great ‘A Colourful Storm’ label. 
The first time I encountered the label’s existence, was at the label’s inaugural release of the Denial - California Dreaming 7” EP. A sweet minimal wave interpretation of ‘California Dreamin’, most known by the version from the Mamas and the Papas. Re-issued by A Colourful Storm, delivered in a beautifully designed cardboard carton sleeve.
It’s hard to pick a few of the highlights from the label, but I’m gonna try by mentioning the Christoph De Babalon, Kallista Kult, and upcoming Désaccord Majeur 3 track EP (so nice!) material. 
Moopie is Beijing-born and based in Melbourne, Australia. His mix turned out to be a dreamy, mostly 90’’s IDM selection, getting more bleepy techno-ish towards the end. Thanks for this. Enjoy.
