New track from Newzs is a collaboration with musician Dormidontov.

“During the creation of this track, we were impressed by the news that we read on the site “Vzglyad-info” and “Versia-Saratov”. Circumstances occurred in the city of Saratov in October 2020. " - Newzs

“Today's trip of the Governor of the Saratov Region Valery Radaev and the Mayor of Saratov Mikhail Isaev in the new tram car ended with an embarrassment. The head of the region and the mayor visited the tram depot, where they were shown with a modernized tram.

Representatives of the tram depot explained to the guests that a new car was installed on the old repaired wheelbase, which was equipped with air conditioning, heating and video surveillance systems; now there is also Wi-Fi.

However, when the delegation set off on an improved tram, smoke arose at a stop in the car.

Passengers were informed that this was due to a malfunction in the brake pads on the wheelbase of the vehicle (while the guests heard the grinding sound from under the train during the whole trip), and the press service of the city administration told the bewildered journalists that this was "normal practice" for trams of such a type.

Immediately after the emergency, the Saratov governor completed his participation in the event and headed for his motorcade.

The Versia-Saratov news agency writes that Mikhail Isaev, who was leaving the scene, was "intercepted" by one of the local residents.

The citizen began to express to the head of the city claims to the work of the services involved in the improvement of the city of Saratov.

“They put it in, they did it. So they did it,” the man said, talking about the work in the Leninsky district, and showed Isaev a fig. “First, they cut the reeds, cut two trees and got off on that. That was the end of the work ...”.

The editors of the “Vzglyad-info” news agency regularly report on the website about the inappropriate public relations of officials.

This case - with smoke and an angry city dweller - can become a classic.”

Pangea Recordings leaped out of the gate with blazing speed releasing their second offering of 2021. This latest release from veteran Michael Wilson (from Parks and Wilson) is absolutely stunning. Fans of the Parks and Wilson duo understand the technical and musical influence the two had snatching up listeners with their captivating sound. Big fan myself.

There are four fascinating mixes here. The Sunset Mix (For Laura) is a gorgeous dreamy acapella string synth symphony styled affair that will surely melt your heart and grab at your soul. The subtle vocals effects peppered throughout are quite beautiful and encapsulate the tone. Perfect for the beginning or the end of the night as the sun is rising.

The ‘Triggs Remix’ is a mixture of tribal elements, surreal overtones with shifting beats, knocking toms and surround sound like effects. The vocal snippets are turned up slightly giving it a fuller sound.

The third mix, ‘J Lauda Remix’ , is probably my favorite of the bunch which is an extremely difficult call. It has similar signature elements of the original and the Triggs Remix while infusing some fresh natural and island familiar elements along with a sweeping synth delayed formulaic bassline that comes across quite clever. It really kind builds you up and cradles down…slightly toying with your emotions if you will. With each listen I discover a little bit more.

Finally we have the ‘Nila Remix’ which is another strong version. I meander back and forth on which I like the most. Nila’s version is slightly more forceful with heavier beats and more haunting vocal sounding patterns with shuttering percussions and winding synth bassline that give it that oomph. This is a real set builder and it surely going to get dancefloors riled up.

I’ve played almost every track in my recent sets and it is truly difficult to land on a favorite here. They are all phenomenal and it would only be fair to view/listen each one with the same level of admiration. Well done Pangea Recordings and all artists involved. Absolutely Massive!
