Now in its 200th instalment, this Podcast has given voice to a diverse offering of global talents across the musical spectrum, from the democratic rhythms of zeitgeist appropriate techno and house through to more avant-garde synthwork.

This next guest has cast a large shadow over the technosphere, so large in fact, that no introduction could fully encompass the breadth of his achievements. But in brief: Ben Klock is a titan whose formative years were spent playing marathon mixes to the crowds at Berlin’s (then recently opened) Berghain. Off the back of his endurance sets and the club’s success he became a household name whose influence grew to be felt across the world, with a body of work that includes appearances at an exhaustive list of clubs and festivals, a number of hot releases on Ostgut Ton and an equally respected self-run label (Klockworks) to boot. On this second imprint, his own productions have repeatedly seen the light of day, alongside those from the likes of DVS1, Sterac, Stef Mendesidis and younger talents like Temudo and Vil & Cravo. Techno DJ since 2013, based in Berlin. Her sense for electronic music was already shaped by her brother in the 90s. Eliza Feliz has developed into an independent artist who understands her craft through ten years of experience and this is also reflected in her track selection. A driven, hypnotic, but also varied and groovy sound, which creates a special atmosphere on the dancefloor. Meanwhile Eliza is an insider tip in the German underground scene, frequent booked in well-known clubs and big festivals. And this is not by chance, because her passion for electronic music can be felt in each of her sets. She has already played alongside some of techno's leading acts, including Ben Klock, Joell Mull, Chris Liebing and Enrico Sanguliano. She recently made her debut at Fusion Festival, thrilling some 9.000 ravers on the Turmbühne.

Illing Joins Darkelementsofc Guestmix Series #032

Hailing from South Africa, Illing holds a residency at the renowned Johannesburg based Techno party TOYTOY, held at And Club. She’s known for playing forward thinking, underground party music at various clubs and festivals across South Africa. Her style includes raw, driving basslines to energetic, intriguing hi-hats and offbeat rhythms that take listeners on a captivating journey with each set she plays.
As a DJ, she is driven by the desire to constantly improve her technical skills while finding new styles of music and exploring innovative ways when approaching her sets.
During the week she runs a DJ school from And Club called Stoke. This space gives up and coming DJs the opportunity to gain first hand experience learning how to DJ in one of the countries top clubs. The course brings together like-minded individuals who have a passion for music and learning about the electronic dance music industry culture.
