Tyler lives in the green Elba (an island of  few inhabitants in the Mediterranean, 20 km off the Tuscan coast). Skilled behind a sequencer as behind a pair of turnatables his influences vary from a wide range of artists and styles: from FSOL to Takashi Kokubo and from bamboo parcussions to leftifield disco, ambient and eccentric electronic stylings, all of which are clearly translated in his body of work.

It was a frosty morning and the pavement was slippery underfoot. She noticed the old man trying to cross the road cautiously and offered him her arm. He obliged and she walked and talked with him all the way home about family, current affairs and the ways of the world. She had made it her mission to do at least one positive deed a day, one good thing for somebody else but herself. It gave her happiness and fulfilment to bring joy into another's life. Maybe one day this would all come back to her in some way...

Russian producer Panorama Channel team up with fellow Russian-born, Lithuanian-based producer Pletnev for a new EP entitled Blavatsky. Both known for their individual exploits, Pletnev on labels like Fleeting Wax, Hard Fist, Bahnsteig 23 and Le Temps Perdu and Panorama Channel on Karakter as well as two previous EPs for Biologic, the label their new collaborative EP is coming out on. The pair bring a hypnotic, psychedelic quality to the three original tracks that feature whirring melodies, driving beats and dramatic synths, while You're Me's Yu Su and Moscow's Simple Symmetry bring their own signature styles on the remix.

Neroli reaches release number 50 during its 20th anniversary and celebrates with a special project, an album of songs by some of the label artists and friends. The title reference goes back to 20 years ago when label’s honcho Volcov decided to give the label the name of Brian Eno’s Neroli album, an hour long ambient opus inspired by the oil derived by the flowers of the Seville orange. So after 20 years and 50 releases the label goes full circle and offers an album of delicate and heartwarming melodies and atmospheric songs. The talent of original UK dons Kirk Degiorgio, Dego and Ian o’Brien is enrolled once again to guarantee sophistication and depth. Patrice Scott and Fred P, who had recently released eps on Neroli, are joined here by fellow spacecadet Aybee…all delivering warm futuristic pieces! K15 and Linkwood debut on the label, opening and closing the album with class. And there is even a lost composition by Volcov himself with Detroit’s Gerald Mitchell and Pirahnahead as part of some 2010 sessions that might resurface soon…THE FIRST CIRCLE is complete!

Various Artists "The First Circle" LP(Sampler) [NERO050]

PT003 sees Planet Trip take a Trans -Tasman journey to Wellington, NZ for a new EP from the prolific Borrowed CS, alter ego of Lord Echo Drummer, Cory Champion. 

All four cuts on the EP see his deft drum programming laying a foundation for a tough and diverse record. The A-side holds the percolating jack track ‘Balance’ and the bleepy cinematic synth work trip “Ururangi”. Flip it over and you’ll find the infectious outsider boogie jam “ Mystic Shuffle” sitting comfortably next to the hazy and dubbed out club construction Ascend (Model 101). 

Club and or lounge room ready, and limited to strictly 300 copies, no repress.
