So this is a mad one for me , back in the days of early Kiss FM  ( 1990/91) - I would religiously record the shows of the 2 Colins . Needing a soundtrack for a Rave journey - on this occasion the short drive to Slough to a warehouse party  called Zen - I very roughly patched together a kind of mixtape from a few of the shows I had recorded around that time - trying to edit out the talking and adverts with the use of the pause button on my dads double tape deck HiFi -  for a nice seamless mix ( LOL - not quite ! ) ( and sorry Colin ) - but this one goes out to the convoy crew and the drivers , and also to the 2 Colins - Colin Dale , and Colin Favor RIP

any help on IDing tunes on here is welcomed - I know a few and will list them out soon , but theres some very elusive IDs here ....

Finally got round to uploading another or my push button comps from the 2 Colins shows from around 91 /92 - ( I used to compile these cassettes from a number of recordings of there shows , and then these were used as a soundtrack for a drive into the city or way out west on a rave mission ).

This - along with the Zen Trax cassette felt like a really fertile period captured  in the techno/hardcore /trance period , with the emergence of breakbeat .
Few Classic artists / tunes in this tape including Larry Heard as Gherkin Jerks , VLSI Heaven , and the all timer - Fallout - the Morning after )

Theres definitly still a couple of here that I still haven't managed to ID after all this time , and would very much appreciate any assistance :)
Not as long as this one ,  was only recorded on 40 minute cassette - desperate times  !

Released 1988, created at Bromley Studios, man this was a 48hr session with Deckster & Cuetips working in a different dimension, and just for the record check out the date 88, one of the 1sts Bricore tracks ever! THE BELLS / PURPOSE MAKER / JEFF MILLS / AXIS - Jeff Mills flagship track from Kat Moda was one of the finest techno releases of the 1990's.  It's pretty much Holy Grail.  So first things first, I've been spending most of my free time making music.  Sometimes I get lucky.  In fact if this version didn't excell while I was creating it, I would have simply walked away and left it alone.  But it began to sound really good & punchy.  I started feeling like Jeff would really enjoy it.  

I mean "Let No Man Put Asunder" is one of the most sampled vocals of all time.  But the placement of the words in this one, I heard it in an old 2011 track by Butch, and knew it would accent The Bells well.  It's really subjective but I will leave it up to you.   Enjoy.
