@chrom-recordings closes down their summer with a bang: the third EP of Dmitriy Shulgin on our label, backed up with a fantastic remix by our own label manager @PedroMercado! Dmitriy made his succesful Chrom debut 1 year ago on our Chromologic Sampler under the alias Doppelganger, followed by his first Chrom EP called "Hungry Corpse" in the beginnng of this year, this time under another a new alias Do Magic. 

In the beginning of the summer we released his second Chrom EP called "Cult" in collaboration with his friend Uzun. And now it's time for number 3: "Ancient Magic", containing 3 exciting Indie Dance tracks. Our label manager Pedro Mercado is obviously a big fan of Do Magic, so he decided to pick the title track of this EP for his first Chrom remix of this year! Pedro Mercado is on fire this summer with an EP on MUKKE (together with Fernando Lagreca), a remix for Krafted Underground. (for Elle Jae) and of course his Chrom EP "Chakra Khan" in collaboration with Yves Eaux (feat. Jay Davi). He turns "Ancient Magic" into a truly powerful dance floor weapon!

As an artist, or more specifically a DJ taking the next step, it takes time to understand the knowledge and know how of producing. This can be for many reasons, but as for my own, I feel I am always struggling with time. This had led me to feel encouragement as pressure, forcefulness, and criticism. 

Once I pushed past this, took lessons, and seeked for guidance, it led me on a beautiful journey that I cannot stop. 

Here I introduce my debut track "Give it Time".

A DJ and producer, born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, before moving to Valencia, Spain, and then continued his journey onto Saudi Arabia. 

Leigh’s preferred music style is melodic techno, underground peak-time techno, still in keeping with his euphoric melodic signature . He has always had a passion for music and feels it transports his brain to other creative planes, allowing him to differentiate normal life with his musical aspiration. 

He is an energetic performer that interacts with his following, his crowds, and his melodic signature allows him to combine the dark and light elements of euphoric melodies, always leaving everyone on their toes and wanting more.
